Boont Amber Ale has a very thick, creamy, cream-colored head and a somewhat hazy, bubbly, amber appearance, with little brown particles floating about and some good lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, brown bread crust, and the flavor is of that, with an underlying caramel and a mellow, floral hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Boont Amber Ale finishes mostly dry, refreshing, and easy drinking. This one is most excellent. It’s all positive with no negative. Delicious!

12 oz. bottle into a tumbler
A- Reddish brown, fairly transparent (just some slight haze), half finger tan head, with okay retention, but good lacing.
S- Strong whiff of caramel, sweet. Mild, if any hop character in the nose.
T- Sweet malt followed by a slight bittering hop balance. The two work well with one another.
M- Medium body, very smooth. Very well balanced in the feel.
O- Mild, but fairly flavorful. I would put this more into the realm of a brown, because of the mild hop. But still a solid beer.

From a 12 ounce can, this beer pours a slightly hazy amber color. Small white head. It's an average looking amber ale. The smell is of toast and crackers. Malty. Some fruit and distant earthy hops, but mostly a lightly toasty, bready scent. The taste is somewhat tilted sweet, but is well balanced. Malt comes through in the taste as well, but this is not a sweet brew. Medium in body, easy to drink, and tasty. This is a no-frills amber all, solid and drinkable.

Yay! A sessionable American Red Ale in a can. Hopefully poured into a Leffe Chalice.
A: Pours a hazy amber-copper color forming a mid-sized and bubbled creamy head. Not long retention and modest lacing in the glass. (2nd pour results in a thick, crowned head and great lacing.)
S: Very subtle, not much waft. Predominantly sweet: Caramel malts and flowery hops.
T: Slightly sweet upfront. Caramel, bread, and roasted malts. Light hoppy bitter end. Refreshing. Sessionable. Good for when you're having more than 1. Not a thriller, but very pleasant and the overwhelming impression is sweet.
M: Light to medium body. Tea like. Good to strong carbonation. Roasted malts and hoppy bitter aftertaste.
O: Very good drinkability. Moderately good Ale. Good session beer, and on sweet side without cloying. Complex, balanced and subtle all at once. Must try again. However, I prefer Smuttynose, Red Tail and Rogue in this style.

Amber color with lots of thick head with good retention and leaving laces.
Aroma of malt and refreshing hops.
Malty flavor but still refreshing. Hints of caramel and oranges. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with good carbonation.
Great ale, it should please both malt lovers and hopheads, given its balance. And if you leave in a country with competitive prices, it is also great as a premium session beer.

Served on-tap at Rattle N Hum in New York, NY
A: Pours a crystal clear amber in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some cola brown highlights. The beer has a finger tall beige head that reduces to a thin film covering a little more than half of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts and citrus/orange hops. Slightly sweet smelling.
T: Upfront there are moderate to strong flavors of caramel and nutty malts with moderate amounts of sweetness that slowly fade. Very little bitterness is discernable.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: This beer was a regular in my fridge for a long time when I lived in NC but since moving to the NYC area I just don't find it as often. I find this beer to be enjoyable, a touch sweet but not cloying and an easy drinker.

Copper hued with an inch of white foam on top. The aroma brings some bread, biscuits, a touch of fruity sweetness. Similar flavor, with just a tad of citrus and some bitter hops in the finish. Light to medium in body with crisp carbonation. Well balanced and enjoyable. While I don't drink beers of this style too often, I found this quaffable.

From a 355 ml copper coloured can. Pours out a slightly hazed russet-copper hue, with a large loose bubbled rocky beige head that retains to a thick chunky cap.
Some dry toasty and bready malt on the nose, with some grassy hops and citrusy esters reminiscent to clementines.
Toasty, bready, even slightly chocolatey malt up front in the flavour, sweet caramel in the middle, that is quickly reigned in by some grassy, citrusy hops that carry on to the finish, while the citrus hops continue to linger on in the aftertaste.
Medium-bodied mouthfeel, light velvety texture, with some surprisingly brisk carbonation.
A pretty good easy drinker that tends to straddle the line for the style--not too malty and not too hoppy. Flavour intensity itself is rather mild but still well enough present. A decent pick for a session beer.
