Popped this baby open on a hot 95 degree Fahrenheit evening in the dry desert sun. Poured into a dimpled beer mug from a 12 oz. bottle. No best by date.

A-Poured a deep and cloudy amber brown/red color. A creamy tan 2 finger head that left trace lacing on the glass. The head eventually turned into a foamy thin surface.

S-Nutty and grainy. Some caramel malt, along with some peach notes.

T-Going in was a little wet. The initial taste consisted of caramelized peaches, grains and malt, a touch of honey in the backend. The aftertaste left a sweet, yet slightly bitter sensation. It was a pretty balanced brew.

M-light to moderate carbonation. Not my idea of a sessionable brew, but could have two (maybe three) if I felt like it. It is not a straight up summer brew, but it's really good, especially when it's so hot outside.

Overall, it's a great beer to pair with food or to have as a sessional during the cooler fall months (in my opinion). It is a solid amber ale that deserves a spot in everybody's fridge. Cheers!

This brew pours with a nice, tan, two finger head which lasts for several minuets. Some of the head remains on the brew until the end. Good, even lacing stays on the glass until the end. The color is perfect, almost opaque red-brown.

The smell is strong with sweet and roasted malts, some caramel and floral hops.

The taste is surprisingly, kind of plain. There is a rush of sweet malts, caramel, nuts? then mild hops on the backend.

The feel is smooth and creamy, strong carbonation.

Overall this is a solid Red Ale from Anderson Valley but it does not really "pop" for me.

A finger of head on a slightly hazy medium straw colored body.
The aroma is quite different: lots of apricot with a little grapefruit. Really nice.
The taste has a nice grain flavor with sweet citrus, mild bitterness to finish.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It's a great amber ale for sure and quite drinkable.

Beautifully clear red amber with a nice head and good lacing. Nose had lots of sweet and yeast fruitiness featuring notes of raspberry. Taste follows the nose with a biscuit malt core. Raspberry is a lovely segue into the mild short hop finish. Hops have a bit of tea leaf and deposit just a trace of oil on the tongue. Feel is light and crisp with a smooth carbonation.. Highly drinkable and one I will have over and over
