Enjoyed this on tap at Duclaw's in Bowie, MD.

A: Pours an amber-red hue with a very thin wispy lace quickly dissipates down the side of the glass leaving no trail.

S: Malty aroma with maybe some dark fruit scents in the background.

T: Smooth malt flavor with caramel and toasted malt mild and finishes on the dry side.

M: Medium-thick body with minimal carbonation.

O: Decent brew - not my favorite Duclaw offering but it was very smooth and enjoyable.

A poured with a small head of light tan foam on a clear amber brown body. Decent retention and lace.

S sweet malt and light roast.

T nutty brown malt up front with some light roast in the middle and a finish of caramel and toffee with spicy hops for balance.

M medium thick body, moderate carbonation and a fairly dry finish.

D very nicely done good malt depth and hop balance.

Half finger head on a clear bright amber body. Sweet caramel malt with musty earthy hop aroma. Has an excellent smokey character which I love in reds. Opening is sweet caramel malts as well with a citrus and chocolate finish. An excellent complex red. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

A- Deep amber color with a very thin white head. Darker, but transparent.

S- Some caramel malt and some roasted malt. Not much hop presence on the nose.

T- Malty, with caramel, sweet malt and some roasted malt.

M- Smooth, more creamy than crisp.

O- Good malty amber.

A: Ruby red and 1 finger white head.

S: Almost nothing. This is really disappointing with it's lack of aroma.

T: Caramel, weird hopping that is herbal and floral.

M: Medium and nicely carbed.

O: Not good. This beer lacks any balance, flavor or aroma. Really sad since most of DuClaw really hits the mark.
