We stayed in Chesterfield, and knew we had to visit. Sat outside on the patio on a hot Sunday afternoon to enjoy a few beers.
One full wall of coolers with 500 bottled beers and another 40 beers on tap, there was lots of choice for eveyone. They had just recently hosted a beer tasting event, and as a result the printed beer menu was out of date with several of our picks sold out. Inside, there is a current beer list, so we did find some goodies. Although originally upset and frustrated that they were sold out of so much, I quickly reminded everyone that this is a good thing: kegs are always rotating and fresh, and nothing sits around getting stale.
Our waiter/server was helpful in providing suggestions and samples, and all beers were served in appropriate glassware (though not always with the correct logo).
No food service available, but you can bring your own (clearly explained on their website and in store signage), so you can't complain about that.
A great place focusing on beer only, lots of specialty and unique brews.
If I lived any where close, I would be getting an iTap Passport, and spend all my time here.

ITAP as it's known is a beer bar. Make no mistake about it, no food, just beer. Incredible selection of taps that change often and if I'm not mistaken just about every bottle of beer distributed in MO can be found in thier coolers, purchased and drank on premises. They allow food to be ordered or brought in from nearby restuarants, if your hungry. They play host to many cool beer events. The Chesterfield location is in a non-descript stip mall, not much character on the outside but the inside has plenty of beer stuff, and lots of flat screen TV for sports viewing. Many limited and special releases find thier way here.

I make it to iTap as often as I can which ends up being around once a week. I'll go there on a calm Friday night to sit and chill with some friends, or on a Saturday afternoon to bring a pizza with me (they don't serve food) and eat lunch and enjoy some new beer they probably have on draft. Or even a place to enjoy a game some night during the week. I think they have 40 rotating drafts and 500+ bottles to choose from. I've always had a great experience with the staff as well and the majority of the servers know a great deal about beer themselves so that's always a plus. If you're in the area I suggest making a stop in here, it's the biggest and typically best selection of micro brews in the area. If only 2 or 3 kegs of a specialty brew makes it to the city, most likely iTap is one of the bars that lands these kegs from distributors (i.e. BCSCS, BCSVS, FW14, Abacus, KBS, Stone '08 BBA IRS, etc.).

I'm a big fan of iTap Soulard (admittedly I've never been out to the Chesterfield location), and am always impressed by their draft and bottle selection each time I go in. Looking through their beer list gives you the feeling of "being a kid in a candy store". The atmosphere is inviting and warm. It's really cool to see so many people embracing and enjoying craft beer. When they have music in it's not so loud that you have to shout to hear the person next to you, but loud enough to add the the ambiance. The service is usually good, but every so often the bartenders seem more wrapped up in something that's going on amongst themselves, than what's happening out on the floor. However, when this happens it doesn't last long. Most servers are knowledgeable on what iTap offers too. I highly suggest iTap to anyone - even if you're just discovering craft beer.

Was in town for a friends dad's funeral, and we all needed a little pick-me-up. Walked in, immediately knew this place would do the trick. Clean, modern, lots of cool stuff decorating the place (flags, taps, etc), a wall of beer fridges on one side, something like 20 taps on the other. A band was playing at the time, good music, not so loud as so you couldn't hear each other talking, but not too soft to be lame. Beer selection was vast, varied, all good. Considering the selection at the supermarket we found earlier in the day, was pleasantly surprised. Service was decent considering the crowd, but at times they seemed to be talking to themselves too much... was waiting for service a little too long. But, thats about my only knock on the place. Next time I come to St Louis, this place will be my first stop going into town.

With 500 bottled beers and 40 beers on tap, how can't you like the place? I started coming to the iTap House since it opened off of Long Road. While working at The Racketman right next door, this was an easy spot to come in for a beer or two after work.
Their location hits the business crowd very well for this is the crowd from 2-6 and then a party crowd slowly begins to come in as there is live music weekly. I was very excited in trying all the beers over 10% ABV and now am focused on completing my iTAP Passport.
I do suggest buying an iTap Passport next time you come in to either location. For only $15 for the Passport, you get special discounts on Tuesday-Thursday Nights, get merchandise/items for beers stamped off on the Passport, and this helps you remember what beers you have, or have not tried at this House of Heaven.
Also, while they do not serve food (hence, Tap House) you can bring your own snacks or order from local pizza, chinese, or burger joints around Chesterfield Valley.
Great place, awesome service, and great for experimenting beers.
Eins.. Zwei.. Drei.. Suffa!

Stopped by on a recent trip to St. Louis.
This place had probably the largest selection of quality bottles that I have ever seen - an entire wall of fridges! Along with the bottles there were probably 40-50 taps of various styles and breweries. I thought the selection of the taps could have been better. There were many beers that were either local or the standard craft stuff with very little that made my eyes bulge. I ordered a Bell's Two Hearted and was impressed to see Peche Mortel on tap, but aside from those there were only a handful of others that would make me go back if in the neighborhood again.
The place was also very big and not very full (although I visited on a Wednesday night so perhaps that had more to do with it than anything) so the atmosphere could have been better as well.
Service was very good and did not try the food...

This is my first visit to the Chesterfield iTap location. I cam specifically for the Canadian Breakfast Stout.
I walked in and was immediately impressed. Large sign with what was on-tap greeted me immediately. I then noticed a cooler stocked with brews (500). I then noticed the 40 taps and felt at home (of the 40, Guiness was the most mainstream beer they had). The bartenders were a little stand offish, but that didn't deter me on my quest to the taps. As stated in many reviews below, you can bring your own food or order from near by restaurants. Cool atmosphere with a lot of cool beer stuff, including a wall made of bottle caps. If it was closer to the city I would come here more often, but it makes a lot more sense to go to the one in Soulard. Cool place, glad it is in St Louis.

Stopped in here twice while visiting family. As noted, and especially in the 'burbs, a place with this type of selection is rare. Given its location, you can sort of understand the "commercial" feel of the place. As someone visiting, I was able to try a lot of great Midwest brews all in one spot, and in appropriate glassware. The tap list is impressive, I didn't even make it to bottles, as they seemed a bit pricey, anyway. Same bartender both times we visited, nice enough, but not overly friendly. He was reasonably attentive to us, even though we were at the bar. I feel bad for knocking ITAP for its food, as it is ordered in, but it is bad... I like a decent meal if I am drinking quality craft beer, and the bar food from some local place and Pizza Hut are about as poor of options as possible. It's St. Louis, I'd have been happy with Imo's even! I am not trying to be to negative in this review, just balanced to all the other places I have visited. ITAP is a great place to try beers if you are visiting, but it is lacking in both atmosphere and food, before it can take that next step as a beer bar.

Decided to stop here on our way back to Kansas City from St Louis. This place is reasonably easy to find. Not knowing Chesterfield I was rather happy that it's just a zig and a zag off I-70. As you pull up to the place, its rather unassuming. A little patio off to the side and a couple of beer signs hanging in the window. The door was wide open, due to the fact it was a glorious Missouri fall day. We quickly found a table (due to the fact it was early on a Saturday, and besides a couple of bikers we were pretty much alone), and I decided to take a stroll over to the tap list, which was hanging on the wall. After deciding on a Moinette Brune, I then took a stroll over to the wall of coolers to look at their bottle selection. I was intercepted on my stroll by the waitress who took my order. I went back to my table, chatted about beer, and the waitress came back with my beer and to take the rest of the table's order. I guess she knew who was important. The place has a nice airy, modern look.
The selection was excellent. Probably the best bottle selection at a bar I've seen in Missouri. They had all the big locals from Schlafly and Boulevard, some great stuff by non local breweries like Bell's, Founders, Avery, Southern Tier, and even some locals I had never seen before at a bar, Crown Valley and Tin Mill. They had an excellent selection of foreign brews including a wide selection of German and Belgian beers (they had Monks Flemish Red, I didn't know it was available in MO). They had Avery DuganA on tap - which I had never seen before and Founders Breakfast Stout.
My biggest beef was, unbeknownst to me, they don't serve food. We were all pretty hungry. Luckily, since it was slow, they went and picked up our food from the neighboring restaurant.
Good prices, nothing really seemed out of line with how I see it in KC. If/when I'm back that way, I'll definitely stop there again.
