Very cool bottle.

Pours a nice red-copper with a small, bubbly head.

Aroma of toasted malt, some caramel and weak herbal hops. A mellow brown sugar comes through as it warms.

Fairly smooth, medium caramel malt flavors with some toasted flavors. A bit of a nutty flavor begins to emerge midway through as does a light hop bitterness. As the beer warms, a taste I would describe as brown-sugar biscuits emerges as well.

Superemely drinkable. I have limited experience with the style, Alaskan Amber being the only other, but this blows that away.

I feel like this is a German beer lover's beer.

A nice chestnut color with lace on the side of the glass that's going nowhere.

The nose is sweet hazelnut up front and lingering leather.

As far as taste goes, its got a nice hop spike that isn't altogether indicative of other German darker brews I'm familiar with. Just the right amount of roasted malts commingle with earthy tobacco notes.

Delicious & worth the price tag.

Amber copper color. Poured four fingers of thick off-white head with long retention and leaving marks.
Nice aroma of piney and floral hops, slightly toasted malts and notes of cinnamon and caramel.
Very tasteful beer, mild toasted malt, spices and caramel. Delicious bitterness with grassy and earthy hops. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body and low carbonation, 6% ABV is well hidden.
Great beer, I just found grace in Altbiers just after dinking the Uerige. Flavorful, hoppy with good drinkability.
