Average east coast style IPA, but nothing spectacular. Deep copper/amber color leaves a smallish white head. I get that typical earthy, slightly damp wood smelling hop profile off this one with a hint of something citrusy. Better than some of the cheapo IPAs fresh n easy and whole foods are hawking these days. I enjoy the bitter finish the beer leaves behind even if the blend of goldings and summit don't give the kick a westerner like myself prefers.

Well...hard to say this is an IPA--very little of the extra hop it takes to make the jump from a pale ale to an IPA--at a minimum its not a well balanced hop.

Had it on draft and it came with your standard white head and color was a bit darker than most IPA's.

Barely any fruit essence, just a nice, smooth pale ale. I could drink a few of these with ease, but this simply doesn't compare to a true IPA.
