Appearance:
Clear, Golden with a hint of burnish brown. Nice one finger foam, creamy head that clings to the sides of the glass.

Smell:
Strong hoppy smell characteristic in all IPAs. Very sharp and does not linger very long.

Taste:
A very smooth bitter with a nice hop bite. Very pleasant after taste, this is a much kinder IPA than most.

Mouthfeel:
Just the right amount of carbonation to infringe upon the flavor, the hops become slightly more bitter as you let the beer sit in your mouth. Like the taste, the mouthfeel is much friendlier than in most IPA's

Overall: A very pleasant IPA, I can see why it is such a popular beer for the style. It has all of the key characteristics of an IPA, just less bold than most. To some, this may not be a good trait, but I would disagree. While this is by no means something to put in your all time greats list, it is a very drinkable version of a kind of beer that prides itself on being slow drinking. It is the intro to IPA.
