Nice gold color, a bit hazy, with a tall white head that receeded to a fine lace. Long strands of carbonation bubbles make their way to the surface. Malty base to the aroma, covered by sweeter, fruity aromas.

A wheaty start, with a bit of a citrus taste to it, before turning the taste over to a bit of a hop bit. Thick malty aftertaste. Smooth, and moderate body, a bit creamy to the feel.

An excellent summer brew.

Poured a honey copper clear color with one finger of frothy white head. Sporadic spots of thin and thick foamy lacing. Good and thick retention on the top.

Smelled lemon zest, orange, caramel, faint toffee, faint chocolate, sour milk, grass, hay, bread and faint resin notes. Caramel is the long lasting whiff.

Tasted similar to the nose, mainly that caramel, sour milky malts and lemon and orange zest. Orange rind, a bit like an orange creamsicle, Also reminded me of a lighter version or orange cough syrup. Clean and refreshing.

Light body. Thin-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, clean, crisp, watery finish.

Surprised at how much this beer grew on me. It’s simple on the outside, but improves as it goes down.

Throwback seasonal beer from 2002 new belgium brewery. It is sold in the summer folly variety packs from new belgium.
Poured a golden yellow with just a hint of amber. Solid two fingers of white head. Okay retention and lots of lacing. Aroma has fruit, lemongrass, and vanilla. A light tasting beer that is crisp and mildly fruity. Light hops. Has a very creamy mouthfeel. Overall, I really enjoyed this beer and look forward to trying a few more to see if it grows on me. Definitely one to drink on a hot day.

Vibrant golden pour, moderate amount of haze, good eggshell white heat that is large but not dense. Aroma was faint, not really belgian.

Taste, light, refreshing, good amount of low alpha acid hopping it seems. Carbonated, gets thin downbottle. Missing any belgian banana, yeast or clove flavors from it, really don't see it fitting there, its more like an underhopped xpa or a british mild almost.

A light, grassy and lemon beer for hot weather. Nothing spectacular, price point a little high for the lack of ingredients or process though. Would prefer something with a little more substance, regardless of the weather.

This is a special brew meant to provide a light drinking experience basically. It delivers what it promises and gives an easy drinking, lighter brew - though it has to be one of, if not THE, lightest Belgian Pale Ales around. I was surprised at how light it really was and how it did kind of "lift" my palate up. Even though I tend to go for heavier stuff, I have to say that I still like this one because of it's even style, even though it is lighter.

Light Orange. Clean, balanced but subtle aroma. The aroma is very spicy, hoppy and fruity. The flavor delivers a very nice citrus and fruit taste from the hops. The added lime leaves add a touch of lime flavor. A nice American wheat ale with a broad range of flavors but this doesn’t seem to be in the Belgian mold to me.

This is definitely a summer brew. Since it is seasonal I'm rating it accordingly; I would not rate so high in a wider context.
Poured into pint glass.
Thin head. Straw color, with a bit of orange to make it look thicker. Lemon, grass, yeast in the aroma. Crisp smell.
Crisp taste as well. Citrus, some hops, flower, and a pinch of malt.
Nice summer beer, thicker than water with taste.

Appearance: Pours a mostly clear orange-golden color with a small 1/4" head at first that dissipated very quickly. There are a few bubbles rising, but do nothing to maintain the head. There is no lacing to speak of.

Aroma: Grassy hops are the most dominant part of the aroma profile. There is a toasty/buttery aroma that seems to be derived from British malts. As the beer warms a bit, there is more of a citrusy balance to the aroma. It is leaning toward grapefruit as it warms.

Taste: The flavor is very hop oriented also. It has all of the grassy and citrus notes that you get in the aroma along with a bit of floral that reminds me of honeysuckle. The beer has a pretty neutral balance overall even though there is quite a bit of flavoring hops. It has a light mouthfeel, and this is aided by mild carbonation. This makes it cross your palate with a watery feeling, and finishes with a very slight bitter balance.

Opinion: Well, this is a pretty tasty beer. It has some pretty good flavor, but it is obvious that this wasn't meant to knock you down. It would probably go pretty well with a cold basket of fruit on a hot summer day. I would rather use a Barley Wine for this purpose, so I probably won't be drinking this all too often...OK, I was just kidding about the Barley Wine, but it is still one I probably won't drink too often.

Appearance: Standard New Beglium Label with a orange kite on the front. 4.2% ABV, and best before 23SEP05.

Appearance: Very cloudy tan orange color. A small white head forms to struggle. It is very effervescent though, lots of small bubbles streaming from the bottle.

Smell: Definitely maltiness, but the smell of mashing grain, not the graininess. Its got a touch of citrus too. Other than there, not much going on there.

Taste: A light bodied beer with good mouthfeel. Its light and clean like a lager. A overall light bitterness is good for the overall dryness of the beer. The flavors in this beer is very subtle. I get a light orange, lime, and some flowery hops.

Notes: A very good beer to be drinking over the summer or as a session beer. A very drinkable beer, but a little too bland for my taste.

I would call this New Beligum's entry into the "light" beer realm. However, it's much more flavorful than the macro lights we see so much of on TV.

Nice spcey blend of flavors, with a hint of citrus, grass, hay.

Very drinkable at 4.0%.

Not NB's best by a long shot, but not their worst. Give it a try.

Light/medium bodied, pale orange color.

Aroma is mainly spicy hops with a trace of citrus - grapefruit?

Taste is more of the same - nice hops bite, then a little roasted malt and wheat with that citrus twist, the finish is dry and spicy hops again, makes you want another one.

This should be an excellent hot weather thirst quencher - but good anytime. Very drinkable.
