Freshness date: Best before Feb. 27, 2009
Color is a deep amber, almost like a shade of blood. Pours a nice pillowtop head with great lacing.
Smell is off a smokey flavor and some coffee also. Taste is pretty similiar, something tastes like smoke here. Had a great balance between the malts and hops.
This is a very smooth beer and not and a lot lighter than I had expected. This beer leaves the mouth very, very dry.
