Poured into a New Belgium globe glass.
Look: Light peachy copper color. A foamy white head leaves a light film with light lines of lacing.
Aroma: Slightly boozy up front, sweet bubblegum, malts, coriander.
Taste: Starts off a bit metallic but then a softer sweet malt comes in with a bubblegum taste laced with coriander, much like the aroma. A dryer hop finish.
Mouthfeel: Dry, boozy.
Overall: Decent, but the particular flavor of coriander is just too much. One bottle is enough.

A: A golden beer with excellent clarity and a rocky white head that leaves some lacing.
S: A nice spicy nose with aroma of pepper, coriander and some clove. There is a medium-low, light colored fruit ester like apricots and peaches. Some light herbal-like character. A low, floral alcohol aroma.
T: A smooth honey like malt sweetness blended with spice and fruit. There is a medium-low earth and spicy hops flavor and bitterness. The balance leans towards the sweet and malty side with a medium finish. Some spice in the aftertaste.
M: A medium bodied beer with a moderately-strong level of carbonation. A noticeable alcohol warmth.
O: Another excellently crafted, balance beer from New Belgium. It's on the lighter side of the Tripel style but still packs a lot of fruit, spicy flavor with a nice balance of sweetness that doesn't overwhelm.

Poured into a Chimay chalice. Pours to a medium white head that falls to a thin layer and light lacing (could be the dusty glass, sorry). Aroma is spicy coriander, intense fruit esters from the yeast, and sweet caramel. Flavor is melt-in-your-mouth honey and biscuits, spices, fruits and a balancing spice and bitterness to offset the intense sweetness but not enough to dry out the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth, warming and appropriate to style. Overall a very well made beer that is excellent for sipping.

A: Yellow, yellow, perhaps a touch of amber. Pretty thin head with a decent lace that dissipates quickly. By the way, generic looking label. Meh.
S: This is where it starts to knock your socks off. Belgian yeast abbey ale goodness with some banana esters, spices and an indescribable crispness if that's possible with smell.
T: Delicate fruity and banana sweetness, bready and slight spices. Mouthfeel is nice and crispy with a warm alcohol and Belgian yeast finish. Stated simply, if you like Belgian Trippel Ales with the famous yeast and banana esters, you will like this.
O: Excellent crisp, slightly spicy and balanced Trippel.
