My favorite place in the world :)
It's a nice, cozy place - always a lot of people, but never crowded. Almost like an english pub with dark wood interior and a quite long bar. They always have great beer on tap and offer exotic microbrews of the best kind on bottle (like De Molen, Struise, Antares and Birrificio Del Ducato). Very relaxed and inviting. The bartenders are very nice, often stopping by when you sit in the bar to ask if you enjoyed the beer, talk a little about new good beers and so on. I even get to taste some of the beers I'm interested in - mostly even without asking! Great service, that is! When the headbrewer of De Molen was there one evening, the bartender let me taste their Amarillo Double IPA etc.
I ate there just once, had fish and chips, but I was more interested in the beers so I don't remember much of the food :)
All in all, a great place. You always discover new beers there and even chosing beers on random will give you a great beer of excellent quality.

A nice Monday afternoon decided to head down this recommended joint. As soon as you walk in 2 beverage centers awe you really De Struise beers and tons of GI, I'm like am I back in Chitown? Place is pretty small, was warm inside, no one offered to help us so we took a seat, no one offered us menus so we grabbed, no one offered to take our order so went to the bar to place one, you're sensing a theme aren't you? The selection si really good and really bad. Its really good because it has tons of GI, de molen, and de struise. Then it has at least one beer from at least 40 countries, possbily more. Its bad because it ways so heavily on 3 breweries then the beers from the random countries are mostly garbage lagers. Decent quality on the high end beers but everything else is garbage. Service was horrendous.
Overall a decent place worth checking out, only place in Stockholm with De Struise so far. However, not worth having more a couple beers at and expect crappy service.

This would be the 2nd place I randomly stumbled upon while walking around.
I came here first before visiting the brewery location, which was probably a good idea. If I had done the opposite, I doubt I would have come here. Which would have been a shame.
Weathered, worn, and filled with quite a crew of characters. From the American with the cheap head rug telling me to go to the dive bar two doors down that serves cheaper beer instead of here, to the insanely drunk old Swede who desperately wanted to say something witty or profound to me, but couldn't due to an alcohol induced haze... This place was cracking me up. And I liked the breweries selections that were made for here far better than the ones at the brewery itself. Really excellent beers, in my opinion. The pale ale and ipa were really spot on and quite nice. And there is a good selection besides to have here as well, though not nearly as much as the brewery location. This was a cool spot. So worn and aged and anti-Stockholm-establishment. Very good service too.
