Pours dark hazy golden with orange an hue topped with a light bleached-white towering foamy head. Lacing follows the beer down the glass. Aroma is phenolic and spicy - the signature of yeast from this region. A really nice fruitiness lead by pear and lemony citrus. Delicate floral notes - but vibrant and fresh. Herbal aroma is intertwined within everything. It reminds me of smells from Parisian markets. Very French, and very impressive.
Nice and fruity - fresh orange, lemon and tropical fruits followed by some spiciness in the finish. Very clean and crisp all the way through. Dry, but with some sweetness - it takes you on twists and turns. Slightly prickly refreshing finish. Carbonation is slightly fizzy, but not overly so. Very complex - ever so slight biscuit maltiness at the tail end. Very refreshing. Probably the ultimate summer beer.
This one is a serious gem.

750 cl bottle: Picked this up at an Auchan. This one pours a somewhat hazy golden color. There was a fair sized white head of made up of tightly packed small bubbles. The aroma is spicy. Citrus notes also. The flavor is very good, and a bit complex. Various citrus married with some spices for a very pleasant brew. Possibly some faint biscuity malts also. The sweetness is very subdued, with just a hint of dryness in the finish. This is just something complex that makes you go: Damn, this is good!
