I went to Rock Bottom with my brother on a thursday night last week. To my suprise they have a special on thursdays of $2.00 a beer. I had three of their "Prussia's Prides" for $6.00 plus tip. The bartender was friendly and quick with the refills.
The bar is very nice and was pretty full. I didn't try any food so i cant comment on that aspect. I did see people coming in and getting growlers filled up.
Overall Rock Bottom is a nice place. The thursday night deal is well worth it. I will probably be going back.

Nice and fairly big portions of food but the beer selections is of course limited to the stuff they make on site and therefore may not satisfy one's cravings. It doesn't look particularly clean as an establishment but overall it's a decent place to have bite and a beer.

This Rock Bottom was close to where I attended college and my friends and I discovered it on trips to the KOP mall. This location holds a special place in my heart because we would spend time here after classes and watch the Phillies run to the 2008 World Series unfold; it was here that I witnessed Shane Victorino hit a grand slam against C.C. Sabathia in the divisional series. With all the terrible beer we were drinking at school, Rock Bottom was a bit of an oasis. Solid, cheap, craft beer and decent bar food. Good stuff.

I have eaten here quite a few times now and have never had a bad experience. The food is very good from their burgers to their pretzels, to their different chicken dinners.
The beers on tap are always changing. I have had quite a few beers from them and must say I havent had one I dislike yet. They have growlers available to take home if you enjoyed a specific beer and are reasonably priced.
Atmosphere here is outstanding. Very good service every time I have been and a very clean and orderly place.
Highly recommend if you are in the mood for good food and a few good beers.

I met a friend here on sunday afternoon for the phillies game. I had never been here before. The whole atmosphere of the bar and restaurant is very nice and relaxing. I sat down at the bar and was able to see many tv screens anywhere i looked.
They have a wide selection of beers on tap, and the ones i tried were very good. They also have a mug club card ,which my friend told me to get. Joining the club gives you automatic upgrades on beer and they also send you free stuff for your birthday.
The menu had a huge selection of food and all of it looked very tasty. Alas, I held back for I was on beer drinking mission. My friend said all of the food is very good. The prices seemed like normal restaurant prices.
Overall I was very impressed with the place. I am not from around the area, but found out there is one in Pittsburgh, so I know I will be checking it out when I am in town. Definite a good play to get together with friends or grab some beers.

Went to Rock Bottom R and B last night and it's a pretty good place as far as chain R and B's go.
First off it's a huge place divided into two sections really: there is the sports bar side and the dining room side.
The dining room side has no tv's and that forces you to talk to your wife and kids.
The sports bar side, the side our party sat in, is smaller and cramped, but loud. There was a phillies game on so of course it's going to be croweded.
It's a sit your self and we found a pretty good table so we could root on our beloved phightin's.
Service was slower, it was a Saturday afternoon in a mall so patience is required.
I had two beers, one was a casked porter and the other was an IPA.
The porter was rich and sweet, dark like the night. It was casked so it was mellow and smooth.
Flavors were predominatedly of chocolate malts and roasted malts.
the IPA was excellent point blank.
It reminds me alot of Blind pig. They had two IPA's there the other was west coast style which I figured was a DIPA.
I would definitely go back for the beer. The food was just average and really would not waste my time going back. Instead I would use that money for a local place that uses local ingredents, money well spent.

Sure RB is a semi-chain, but it's still a cool place to go to once in a while. The one at King of Prussia mall is the only one I've been to, and it makes for a convenient shopping stop for lunch and a brew. Several tasty beers to chose from, even if nothing too extreme, and there are generally a good rotation of seasonals and stouts. Food is very good. Good burgers. They have a free mug club that gets you discounts, bigger beer mugs at the bar, and other various paraphernalia. Sportsbar-ish atmosphere, and the staff is generally friendly and attentive. Much like Heartland Brewery, I wouldn't imagine that fanatic beer enthusiasts would be too ecstatic about this place, since they make their own beer and don't serve anything else. But I still like it once in a while. Plus you can walk it off in the mall before driving home. (Just don't end up buying a lot of random stupid sh*t like I did once.)

My second time visiting the brewery. Vibe is kinda generic but still comforting. Very much a chain sports bar. It is in the mall though, so that's not suprising. Food menu has a chain feel but is executed very well. Everything we ordered was delicious and in ample proportions. Also was very reasonably priced. The fried pickle and pepper basket was banging and the pesto BLT flatbread pizza was great. Beer selection was good. I got the sampler to start. The seasonals and rotating beers were kings wit, nevermore black lager, centennial IPA, fightin pils, and a saison. All were solid. Highly recomended brewpub.

Rock Bottom has become my favored destination for dinner and drinks on the one or two times i make it out to King of Prussia each year.
Rock Bottom is situated in a far corner of the mall and aside from the visable brewing equipment in the dinning area, has a very chain restaurant feel to it.
Rock Bottom always has atleast 7 varieties of beer available - a light lager, a german lager, an ipa, a red ale, a rotating wheat, a rotating "dark", a seasonal and one of the selections is always availabale as cask as well. Overall its decent beer, with the seasonals, rotating dark and the IPA the big winners.
The food is also very chain restaurant, but very good and served in ample quantity - fried appetizers, burgers, sanwiches, fajitas, ribs soups and salads etc. A few unique items such as the Macaroni and Cheese w/ chicken caserole are standouts on the menu.
Service is hit or miss, especially when the mall is crowded during peak season. The staff is not always knowledgeable about the beers.
Overall, good beers and good food for when you are in the area.

Awesome to find this place in the middle of the massive King of Prussia mall. An excellent beer selection...ordered a sampler, they served a golden, IPA, amber, hefe, porter, barleywine, Octoberfest and cask conditioned IPA (I might have even missed 1 or 2).
Great selection...all the beers were good too...fresh and crisp. The porter was nice, slightly roasted with a creamy, smooth finish. The Octoberfest had a malty, somewhat hoppy flavor.
Basic pub food...good and not expensive.
They had the football package, but according to the bartender, they were having problems with it...so, only the Eagles game was on the 10 or so TVs (and the Packers/Bengals too for some reason). Overall, though, a good place...
