One night totally changed my opinion of this place. It was that bad.
Went there on a Thursday night for $1 pints. What all the signs they have fail to mention is the $3 cover, so unless you're drinking a few you're really not getting a deal at all. All the signs say all beers $1, and we were told that as we came in, but upon getting to the bar we're told that one beer, the one we actually really want, is $4.50 (the "Tremere", which suffers from poor French orthography (should be "Trémère"), and isn't actually a word...a French-speaking person would hear it as "Très Mère" - "very mother"...but I digress). Bartender gave me a big attitude when I made a rather disgusted/pissed off face upon hearing the news.
So we each order a pint of the very-subpar "Dunkle Weizenbock". Came in a hot plastic pint glass. Mmm, appetizing. Had another beer after that, took a while to get my second after the bartender snatched my empty glass without asking me what I wanted before walking to the end of the bar to chat up some guy. Girlfriend had to stick her tits out (figuratively, of course) to get the attention of the male bartender so I could get another warm plastic pint of beer. Oh, and all the beer tastes like bad homebrew (I should know). A couple of months ago it wasn't that bad, but all 3 beers I tasted had a slight off taste that I couldn't put my finger on, like a bit of an infection or overstressed yeast.
Here's a bit of nonsensical calculus...f(false advertising^poor service*TAN(crappy beer))=I'm never going back there again. Which is sort of a shame, because I work so close to there now (and would be in a position to recommend it to lots of people from out of town who are looking for a place to go...). I really thought this place had shaken off the "chain brewpub" stigma, but they're just feeding it in my mind now.

This place is a fairly busy outpost of the Rock Bottom chain. The interior is nice, but has that plastic menu sticky table chain restaurant thing going on. Big bar with lost of room and plenty of tables. They even give you cool buzzers while you wait for your table (in case you weren't sure yet you were in a chain).
Service is generally pitiful at the bar and the servers are hit or miss, generally miss. On my most recent visit it was just painful. We waited 20-30 minutes between visits from our server.
The food is OK, nothing great. I actually expected a bit more. The server made excuses about my buffalo fajitas (the buffalo was terribly fatty and cut so thick it was pretty off putting. My wife's chicken fajitas came shredded..OK. Stick with the basics and temper your expectations and you'll be fine.
The beer was solid, but unspectacular. The IPA was average with a bit of an oxidized finish (which I don't quite understand). Stout was average as well. This is actually a step up form a few years ago when the beer as terrible. If your friends drag you here you'll be happy, if you treat as a destination you will be disappointed.
Lastly, there are just too many other good places within 15minutes of here for me to frequent it (even though I live only about 10 minutes away)

Atmosphere - I'll admit was an off time, on Memorial Day at 2:00PM. The place was a bit empty at the bar, but based on the looks and reputation of the place, it gets it's fair dhare of folks through the doors for happy hour. I'll drop in another time to give it a fair chance.
Quality - seems appropriate for location and nature of what you are getting. It is a chain afterall, so you expect what you expect, and you also expect certain standards. They do not deviate from that.
Service - maybe an off day, so I will put as average, but it took a long time to even get noticed to get and pay for drinks.
Selection - is good with upcoming events and releases listed on the board.
Food - planned on eating at the Sly Fox (he, he) later, so didn't venture into the menu. Will do next time around.
Value - is reasonable. After all, taken as a whole, the King of Prussia Mall is the highest price per square foot of retail space in the USA. (not proud)

I have been to this location several times. The food is OK and the beer seems to be conservative. I have tried a few beers and they all seem to be highly drinkable, not very complex, kind of made for the masses. This is certainly not my brew pub of choice...it is in a mall...but as noted, it does have an entrance in which you don't have to go through the mall. The service is spotty at times and the atmosphere is decent. Nothing special, but an average place. I would not recommend the place, but I would not discourage anyone from going.

Several years ago, I had a job near King of Prussia for a few weeks. I was happy to stumble across the Rock Bottom that had fairly recently taken over the site of the Brew Moon. Not knowing anybody in the area, I went out for the evening a lot, and this place soon became my favorite hang-out. Excellent food, good beer, and the people were actually friendly. Im sure Ill catch to grief for this, but I did grow up in the suburban Philly area so I think Im allowed to say this. People in the Philly area are, for the most part, not what I would call friendly. Im not saying theyre bad people or anything, but its not as easy to talk to people as it is in places like western PA. Or better yet, small towns where striking up a conversation with a total stranger is easy to do. But this place made me feel like a regular after a couple nights. Great service, excellent bartenders, nice atmosphere and good prices, especially when you get in on their Mug Club. I really enjoyed my evenings there.
So recently, my job sent me back out that direction for a while, and so I made a couple stops back at the old KofP Mall. Grew some more, I see. Took a while to remember where it was, kind of hard to find and see. Prices were still decent, food was still very good, beer wasnt quite as good as I remembered (but not bad, still above average with some Id recommend trying), and the service was terrible. Didnt matter whether we were seated at a table or I was sitting at the bar grabbing a quick brew, they were not attentive or friendly. I just didnt have a good time. So I have to reluctantly give this place much lower marks than I would have prior to this past month.

Well I am here usually once a week for happy hour and I come back time after time because its a pretty enjoyable place to have a few beers and grab a bite to eat. There is usually some kinda special everyday like steak and ale night on Tuesday and $2.00 pint night on Thursday just to name a few,the food for the most part is pretty good except maybe for a few things (Iam not a huge fan of their steaks). For being such a big chain they do have a nice selection of different beers from an Oud Bruin to a light lager,at times though they dont seem to rotate their beers enough. The service at times has alot to be desired but if you get their when not overly busy you should be ok.I think this place gets a bad wrap by some but I think its a quality place.

Stopped by here on a sunday with a couple BA's. Never knew this place existed till somebody clued me in. I don't shop at KOP.
The brewpub?, is a large establishment off in one of the malls corners. Plenty of seating and a large bar although I could not get a seat there. This palce has a chain vibe but nothing to unbearable. A lot of tv's for your viewing pleasure.
Quality is there, although I did not see the brewing equipment 1st hand. Im guessing there is one nitro tap along with about 7-8 brews. Nice styles from light to dark. I had the sampler and enjoyed the prussia's pride amoung others.
Service is good. Never a long wait to make requests. Virtually no time to get our beers or food. Polite service. The server knew her beers and styles. Simple styles that were good but nothing making me want more of something.
Selection was good but nothing exciting. A good array of styles. Not sure if they have any liquor or wine as I was not at the bar. I would like to come back here and see more styles in the future.
The food was, well, it was nothing to great. Pretty much what you would find at most chain resturants. A big selection and menu i'll have to revisit in the future.

This place has an ok atmosphere. It's in a mall, so it loses something right there. They have a lot of pictures of canyons and outdoors stuff. I'm not sure what sort of feel they were going for with that. The service is decent, and I have no complaints there. The food selection is pretty standard and they do a decent job on what I tried. The beer selection had some standard stuff. An amber, a dark beer, an IPA, etc. The one beer I had (the IPA) was just ok. All in all, this is place is decent, but I would not go out of my way to get here.

This place has a little bit of a corporate feel to it to me, its clean, nice, with a good design but some parts have a part that screams corporate elegance, like the huge THIS IS FERMENTATION TANK # 2 or 3 or whatever. Crowded place though, food was decent, a little expensive, my date had enchiladas, which she loved, while I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was really good. Only beer I had was the IPA, meant to order the sampler but it's ok. The IPA was fine for the style, inoffensive but not bad. This place is nice, good first place for the virgins, but there is something about it that bothers me, it has no charm, its like Applebees with fermentation tanks.
May be back, but only to try the rest of the beer.

I was there last Saturday, The ribs were very good and my wife had the lemon chicken she said was good. My favorite was the sub zero IPA. My only complaint about the beers are that they are seved a bit too cold. Espiciall the cask condtion ales. I had the double bock cask which was way on the cold side. When I get a cask condition beer, it is usually served at 55 degress, not 35. The place could also do with out the smoke. Which was embetted on my clothes when I came home. Over all a good place to drink, they just need to serve their beers at the right temp.
