Don't be fooled by the outside of this store. They have the largest selection of craft beer that I have seen outside of the midtown area. However, the shop is small and at times there can be so much beer that it is hard to navigate the aisles. Rocky is a wonderful shop owner and takes care of his loyal customers. They have a great selection of beers and I highly recommend that you visit if you are in the area.

This is the closest shop to me, and I've gone there on and off over the years.

The beer selection here has improved greatly, as has the beer knowledge of the guy who runs it.

Quite good selection of Belgians, bombers, and local stuff.

I'll be frequenting this one often. The only reason it isn't my "go-to" place is that I prefer the mix and match 12 ounce singles set up at another nearby store.

Be aware that it has a very small, awkwardly shaped parking lot at an intersection, but hardly their fault and it's still worth stopping in.

This place is becoming a hidden gem.

Update (1/4/2010): This place has really improved since my last review. The beer selection has increased. The organization of beer section has improved and the stock is maintained much better. They have both chilled and room temp beer of all sizes (750ml's, individual smaller bottles, and six packs). The most notable change is the staff. The gentleman I speak with keeps close tab on what is currently coming to Georgia and lets me know when to expect it. Other than Toco Hills Package (and of course Greens), they have the largest selection east of Decatur that I have seen.

I moved into the area around this place in July 2007. I avoided it because it looked a little sketchy and parking is limited. Was in a pinch for time earlier this month and stopped in. The beer is located in the very back of the establishment. I was more than a little surprised at the selection in this place. The staff isn't beer savvy but they are friendly. This is a partial list of what I found there: The largest selection of Great Divide I have seen in the local area, Sam Adams, Anchor Steam, most of the available Stone Brewery varieties, Duck Rabbit, Sweetwater Brewery, Clipper City - Heavy Seas line, Left Hand Brewery, 3 or 4 St. Ambrose brews, Highlands Brewery, Rouge Brewery, most all of the Allagash line (incl the single bombers), Flying Dog, Eastside Brewery, Brooklyn, Atlanta Brewing, some Southampton, Weyerbacher, and Dogfish Head beers. The place has about 40 varieties of Belgian and Belgian-style beers (Unibroue, Duvel, Brasserie de Rocs, Jolly Pumpkin, Saxo, and many more). This being said, I give a word of caution. It appears that, at one time, the beer stock was well taken care of, with beer ratings posted and items categorized. However, some of the stock has obviously been sitting there for a while. If an item is in question, I would pick-up only what ages well. Regardless of this fact, this is a good "quick stop" option for the "Tucker-side" when I don't want to go all the way to Greens or Decatur Wine & Spirits.
