I am not from the upper midwest; but I imagine (wistfully) that tiny hamlets like Aunt Marys should exist (hopefully) all across this region. This is an authentic local pub/meet/gather/ place as any i have ever been in. It is small; not very attractive; but chock full of Midwestern charm. Food is solid (Friday fish fry was great tasting and a bargin) and beer selection is solid with several micros on offer (especially New Glarus). Waitstaff (1) and bartender (1) and cook (1) all within ear shot and all very friendly. Try and go for "Meat Sticks" night and ask for Dianne. Tell John in VA sent ya! A classic American drinking establishment....
