This place keeps all beer at room temp, def an offset. A few interesting Avery picks, some decent RR selections but nothing to write home about. it is a good spot for their flight special but if you are anywhere near the Bruery provisions store, this is basically a moot point.
Check it out, a few rare picks but nothing that will astound anyone who has been to the standard places ie ramirez/red carpet/K&L/cap&cork etc.
I got a bottle of collabo not litigation and was pleased but everything feels like $2 overpriced as if they have a lame supplier or something.

this place is hard to review because it's two very different businesses in one location.
Upstairs, there is a bottle shop with bright lighting and a strip mall feel. High shelves and a very narrow floor are a tough way to display their large variety of great beers from around the world. The problem is they don't refrigerate anything. Not even IPAs. I wouldn't buy a bottle from them because if they don't respect the beer then I'm not interested.
Downstairs is amazing! They have a dark cellared room that feels like a speakeasy. Chill, but chilly (they keep it cold down there) and relaxed. This is really a wine bar but they have some nice beer too. My guess is that they only refrigerate the beer they are serving but it's likely from the upstairs stock, so beware.
Great place to hang out and nice, staff but not beer knowledgable.
No beer on tap.

I have been here a few times for wine tasting as well as purchasing. Their wine flights with food are great. I wish that the beer prices were not as marked up as other establishments. I would only buy beer here if I was in a rush and didn't have time to hit up my other spots. 3 stars for the beer prices, 4 stars for the tasting, cheese, and charcuterie. 3.5 stars overall. I do not like the fact that some of their beer bottles are stored in direct sunlight in near the door. The establishment has a vast cellar downstairs and I would respect the store more if there was a better attempt to store the beers correctly.

Walking in this place it looks very small, but they actually have quite a bit crammed in there. Mostly wine obviously, they have a pretty damn good selection of [mostly] Belgians, other imports and craft brews from all over. Some Russian river, Stone, Great Divide, Mikkeler, Green Flash, Alesmith etc. - the usual for L.A. area for the most part. I must say the prices are very high though. I would only buy something here I could not get anywhere else (which isn't much). We ended up going into their cellar/basement for a tasting. The cellar has a pretty damn cool vibe and was surprised. Initially I was under the impression they had some beers on tap, but was disappointed to find they did not. Either way, they had bottles available for consumption, as well as flights of specific varieties. Prices down there were very expensive as well. The worker down in the cellar told me she had no clue about beer, and served everything in incorrect glassware. They were pouring their flights of samplers out of bottles they had previously opened (who knows when - the place was empty) which didn't sit well with me. I was taken here by my lady and her parents before dinner for my birthday. While I appreciated the gesture and efforts of them, we made the best of it and had a good time. That being said, I would not go back again, but had fun and walked away with a bottle of Oak Aged Yeti.

Beers that regularly go for 11.99 go for 15.99 here. I don't really need to say anymore about the place....but I will.
The guy who works behind the counter/probably owns the place decided to boast about his beer selection.... Vendome, less than 10 minutes away has 4x the selection this place does.
Every beer/wine is exposed to the bright California sun, and the door is left open all day long. so when is 98 degress in Glendale this place is like 80 degrees inside.
There are no coolers whatsoever.
The only positive I can find is this place has a few gems, but then why would you bother buying them because they are stored so poorly and easily priced 2-6 dollars over nearby competitors.
Go elsewhere my friends.

Checked this place out the other day (finally) as it's right around the corner from the Farmer's Market in Atwater Village that I hit up most weekends.
It's a small place, primarily a wine store (shocking, given the name of the place, I know) with rows of wine racks, and up above those racks along the walls are several stacks of beer, loosely arranged by style (saisons, lambics/sours, English ales, Trappist Ales).
Two things put me off: nothing refrigerated, although conceivably the place is kept relatively cool to accommodate the wine, it certainly wasn't 55 degree cool when I was in there (the door was open, after all), and particularly for some of those green bottle saisons up high and exposed to the light is just asking for skunked bottles.
The other things was the prices... there wasn't anything I saw in a 750ml bottle that wasn't at least $2 over what I see as standard, and $5 in other cases.
In a pinch I'd grab a bottle when I'm in the area, or if I was more into wine (their selection seemed really well thought-out), and it seems like it might be the kind of place you stumble across limited releases a couple months after they sold out in other places, but as any kind of regular beer store, not at least until they bring the prices down.
