Reddish brown like root beer, clear, with sand coloured head that fades quick, although I'm not using the ideal glass.
Decadent dark chocolate syrup and rich roasted coffee aromas, molasses.
Light flavoured with dark chocolate, vanilla, dark rum, cola, some woodiness. Balanced subtly by hops for a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation, very easy drinking.
Normally this would be too mild flavoured for a porter, but drinking it in Colombia, it totally makes sense. Makes for a nice change from a lager or IPA in the heat. It is a touch sweet for my taste

This is a good but basic porter and very light in character. It is dark chestnut with a decent but smallish head. Aroma is very light roasty and malty character. Taste is better but still rather light - light roasty prunes especially. Feel is good but unmemorable and slightly watery. That said, it has no real competition for this style in Colombia and it is worth drinking.

I got the chance to try a few Colombian craft beers from the Bogota Beer Company including this one. They certainly brew good craft beer in Bogota too. This beer is a pretty typical English porter but with a more distinct chocolate flavor
Look: dark brown hue with an inch off-white head
Aroma: roasted malts, a little bit of chocolate and coffee
Taste: roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, a little bit of coffee, mild yet flavorful.
Feel: medium body

poured 12oz bottle into a snifter. Poured into snifter. Dark cola brown, with a 1.5 finger tan head. Leaves a collar around glass and there are blobs of lacing. Some roasted malt that gives a coffee like scent, nuttiness, and a light sweet cola scent. Straight forward roasted malts, with light chocolate, caramel, and cola sweetness. Not overly sweet, but there is no bitter component to the taste. Enjoyable.

Pours a dark Amber color. Aroma is a nice toasted malt with a slightly sweet chocolate / caramel note. Flavor is roasty with hints of chocolate. Has a bit of a light body to it. Overall very solid.
