Notes:
This is our version of a milk stout, originally named Fresh Powder Milk Stout. A milk stout is simply a stout brewed with an addition of Lactose, a non-fermentable milk sugar, used to create sweetness and a fuller body and mouthfeel in the beer. This is the sweetest stout that we brew, not only because of the addition of lactose, but because of the low hop bitterness, and higher residual sugar content. It is very full bodied beer, often perceived as thick and creamy.

A: Pours a massive light mocha head with sticky lacing and spiderwebs the entire way down.
S: Aroma of bittersweet chocolate, lactose, black malt.
T: Very well rounded milk stout. I was completely amazed when looking on here at what the abv was as it was so flavorful. For a milk stout, this has done very good in terms of flavor. Light chocolate malt flavors, patent and chalk flavors from the lactose and a dry finish. Not much hopping in here intentionally and it is additionally sweet because of this.
M: Dry and well carbonated.
O: Overall this is a very good milk / sweet stout. It is not a high octane beer and it is extremely drinkable. I would love to have this available locally as it could be a regular in the rotation because of the low abv and enjoyable taste profiles... Recommended

A - A very full bodied looking with a deep dark black and a 1/2 inch of mocha head that pulls back to just a mild lace ring. No sticky lacing.
S - Some milk sugars and chocolate highlighting with some roasted malts but it seems to have a hoppy edge even for only 20 ibu's
T - Not a bad milk stout maybe a touch more metallic and less "sweet" than they described. Sweet chocolate malts, then acidic roasted malts, and a sugary malt finish is what you get. Has some harsh hard water undertones I can't ignore.
M - Medium bodied, with only mild creaminess.
Overall only having one of their brews I find this hard to believe it's as sweet as they say. Also it could use more body and maybe a touch creamier rather than hard water edge. These guys should re-make their recipe.

A: Hersey chocolate pour, with a bronze-twany topping that displayed a length retention. Really love the head coloring here as well a nice lenghty topping display. Milky frothy lacing.
S: Dark chocolate, semi-sweet, fresh coffee beans with a hint of sweet lactose and creamer and decent level of awareness.
T: Flavor of sweet chocoalte and lactose. Caramel, a bit dry in the middle but sweet with some dry cocoa rounding things out.
M: Creamy near full body with a good tingle of carbonation and a lengthy fade of dry alcohol and chocolate.
O: Overall decent, dry and sweet, comes in middle of the road per style for me, but it probably wont make you regret a single purchase. Easy drinking, dessert beer.

A - Pours cola brown/black in color. Very minimal head produced, however, a thin mocha-colored cap remains throughout the glass. This does provide a good amount of lacing.
S - Milk chocolate, some roasted coffee, and sweet malty base.
T/M - Again, bittersweet milk chocolate with a hint of caramel. Mildly bitter. Fairly thin. Would like to see a little more creaminess in this one.
O - Just seems to be a pretty average stout. Can't say anything really stood out for me.

Poured a deep brown hue with a two finger foamy tan head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured roasted barley and a touch of caramel.
The taste consisted of a sharp roasted malt softened by a touch of lactose sweetness. Excellent residual dry coffee and dark chocolate detected.
The mouthfeel was toward the thinner side of the style with a dry finish.
Overall a very tasty and extremely quaffable stout.
