Notes:
Deep golden, medium bodied & nicely bitter, Hopyard Pale is exceptional in the West Coast style. Generous hopping in the boil & further dry-hopping produce a fruity/floral aroma & refreshingly bitter finish. A true thirst-quencher!

Who doesn't love a well made APA, especially when it's made in Canada :)
Pours a bronze color with golden highlights, lightly opaque with a large poofy, wheatish head that leaves gobs of lace down the side of the glass. The head remains thick right to the bottom. Wonderful stuff.
The smell is nice. Some hops, earth a vanilla scent that I just can't get enough of. The taste is a really good blend of sweet malts, fruitiness and perfect hop balance. This thing kicks ass.
Mouthfeel is slightly prickly and refreshing. Drinkability is high.. I can down one of these faster than any beer I've had before, plus I can session them without getting sick of the taste.
Well done Garrison!

Good bar-pour head. Leaves plenty of interconnecting spots on the glass. Golden amber and nearly clear.
Attractive floral hop nose. Slightly sweet but not in a cloy way.
If blindfolded, I'd swear I was drinking an IPA. There's lots of bitterness with a solid pale malt base. The aftertaste is long lasting with a hop bite that falls short of sucking a hop pellet. Full bodied with low-ish level of carbonation.
Simply put, a well-balanced, leaning to the bitter, well-made beer.

Appearance - Pours a bright orange amber with a finger width of foamy white head. Slightly hazy.
Smell - Dominated by earthy hops, along with aromas of sweet apple and fresh citrus.
Taste - Bitter, earthy hops are the ruling flavour in this brew, followed by sweet fruitiness as detected in the initial smell (from the malts).
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light carbonation. Nice creaminess in texture.
Overall - An enjoyable APA by Garrison Brewing. I enjoyed the hop profile in this brew, however I felt the malt elements were lacking for the style. Despite that, still a worthy beer to try.

This dark gold beer poured a frothy white head. I didn't get much hop aroma even though it was served on the warm side around 50F. Hop biterness dominates, with enough malt to balance. The taste is resiny at first and then it reminds me of eating the pith of a grapefruit.
A sessionable and very enjoyable beer.

Nice light amber with a thin white head. Crisp, hoppy smell with a nice malt profile. Yeast, biscuits and a bit of caramel. The hoppiness eases a bit as this warms.
Sharp hop profile on the taste, good bitterness. Nice bready flavours, and a bit of fruitiness. A little bit of sugariness to this.
A bit heavy-handed on the carbonation, but otherwise not bad. Definitely worth repeating.

Tried a sample at Beerfest, finally got around to getting a 6 pack, and enjoy a full bottle.
Poured clear, golden-copper color with lots of big carbonation bubbles. Foam shrinks to a thin floating cap, leaving some thin strings of lace. Lots of citrus, pink grapefruit smells, fresh hops. Same, bold upfront hoppiness - as much hop flavor as many IPAs I have tried. Lots of bitterness, yet still balanced by some malt character. The aftertaste has the familiar citrus hop finish. The carbonation and mouthfeel are smooth, medium bodied. A nice hoppy pale ale. I have enjoyed all of Garrison's beers so far, and this is another good one.
