On tap at the Glen Mills location.
Pours a cloudy, very pale yellow color with a small, quickly settling head and patchy lacing. Fairly typical aroma for the style, with plenty of cloves and a bit of assertive lemon as well as a grainy wheat note.
Thin bodied, with medium carbonation; very easy drinking, perhaps a bit on the watery side. The flavor has a more prominent lemony citrus quality than many other wits in addition to a standard spice profile that once again features cloves plus pepper and coriander. Not overly spiced, thankfully.
A pretty decent stab at the style; the taste is in line and appealing, again a little watery; there’s nothing bad or particularly exceptional about it either.

Served in a pint glass
From notes.
A: Murky, hazy orange. 0.5 (soft white) fingernail head.
S: Sweet citrus fruit with nice hints of coriander, all spice, and white pepper. Cracked wheat as well.
This is where the tide shifts...
T: Minimal "wit" character here; almost oaty which is entirely unpleasant. Tastes a bit off - grass, black pepper, and stale caramel corn. Yuck!
M: Light bodied with decent carbonation, but the beer itself it thick and almost slushy.
O: This beer smelled inviting, but the taste and mouthfeel were absolutely miserable. Not good at all other than if you want to look at this beer.

On tap as Belgian Wheat. pale straw yellow, cloudy and a bubbly white head. light belgian yeast, hints of white peppery spice, fair bit of lemon and light banana. Taste is light, flavors of yeast and spice. Lemon dominates. Medium to light body, fairly dry, lighter end on carbonation.

Had on tap today at the brewpub.
a - Pours a murky pale yellow-brown color with one inch of white head and low carbonation evident. Not super appealing.
s - Smells of oranges, wheat, spices, and light yeast. Oranges are light, as are the spices. Not bad but a little bland.
t - Tastes of oranges and citrus, wheat, and light spices. More citrus and orange than the nose; a step up.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation.
o - Overall a pretty average witbier. Nothing too outstanding about it, but worth trying once. Wouldn't seek it out again.

Pours an uber hazed yellow straw color with minimal cap of froth, litle sticky lacing. Scent is dominated by the belgian yeasts followed by citrus, slightly musty with a bready malt backbone. Taste begins a little sweeter then expected, followed up by a musty and muddled blend of yeast, white bread and orange rind, slight metallic taste in back end. Medium bodied, undercarbonated, lightly dry finnish. A rather muddled flavor profile makes this a step down from Blue Moon.

First had: on tap at McKenzie Brew House, Malvern, PA
A Belgian-style witbier. Poured a slightly hazy straw-yellow with a small, foamy head that dissipated almost completely. Crisp citrusy aroma; too light to detect much more. Light hoppy taste, citrusy, typical wheat bite, and a bit harsh. Light mouthfeel, with a metallic aftertaste. Somewhat drinkable, but not something I'd get more than once.
