Pour is pale yellow with thin white head. Yeasty and light spice character, hints of lemon and faint citric note. Sugary in the nose and flavor. Yeast and spicy undertones with some candied sugar in the flavor. Syrupy with a fair amount of carbonation and a touch oily rather than dry.

Burnished amber beer with nice clarity, a slowly settling white head, and lots of lace. A good looking pale ale. Aroma is quite mild; some light hoppiness, floral notes and some citrus fruits, a bit of caramel malt.
Flavor is very middle of the road; unaggressive hoppiness, again mostly floral and fruity; light bitterness, mild pale malt flavor. Faint caramel sweetnes. Dry finish with a small amount of lingering bitterness.
Medium-light body and a bit of an off-putting fizziness to the carbonation. Not bad but a bit forgettable and middling.

First had: on tap at McKenzie Brew House, Malvern, PA
Poured a clear golden color with a small white head that dissipated quickly. Light, grassy aroma, with not too much else going on. Grass and hay in the taste, with a decent balance of biscuity malts. Light bodied and easily drinkable, but not something I'd get more than a pint of, if that.

Had on tap today at the Glen Mills brewpub.
a - Pours a clear golden-amber color with one inch of white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of pale malts, grain, and bready malts. Some faint hops as well.
t - Tastes of grains, bread, wheat, pale malts, light citrus hops, and light fruit. A step up from the nose.
m - Light body and moderate carbonation. Very easy to drink.
o - Overall an easy drinking, pretty nice pale ale. Light fruit in the taste and the usualy grain and bready from an APA. Would have it again, and better than the XPA and witbier they had on tap.

Served in a pint glass
From notes.
A: Bright, golden tan (warming after the other bad beers I tried from here - I'm bitter...my apologies). Single (pure white) fingernail head.
S: Light-bodied malt (combo of two-row and biscuit malt) with nice hop presence. Hint of sweet caramel to round things out.
T: Crisp and unbalanced malt and hop profile that are "fighting" each other here - but at least there is something! Hints of caramel and spice undertones make it interesting and dare I say...enjoyable.
M: Medium body with low/moderate carbonation. Needs to be a bit more full-bodied to drink like a proper English Brown Ale.
O: Now we're talking...a decent beer that drinks pretty okay for the style. It will not knock your socks off, but that's okay because this is just meant to be a beer-drinking-beer. Good just with the Pale Ale!

A: Bright, golden tan...had this as part of a sampler...best of the batch.
S: Nice hops, but a bit lost, would have liked a stronger scent of the hops. Hint of something else, maybe sweet caramel.
T: Very enjoyable after a not so impressive scent. It was crisp with a decent malt taste followed by a decent hop that someone else posted seemed to be fighting" each other here. Could taste the caramel and spice undertones that were pretty good!!!
M: This was the one in the sampler that I did not feel was over carbonated. It had a medium body with low/moderate carbonation which I really liked.
O: I really enjoyed this beer. Of the ones offered in the sampler this was the best, equalling the IPA. It didn't knock me out, but with my wings that I ordered it was perfect!!!! It stood out in the sampler to the point that I ordered two more glasses to cap off the night!!!!

Pours a clean and clear gold, little to no head. Scent is of fresh grassy hops, kiss of citrus, freshly dried and malted grain. Like many of their beers, scent leads directly to taste, pleasnt freshness to the hops and malt - grassy and grainy with a suprisingly decent bitter bite. Medium bodied, undercarbonated. A easy drinking, fresh tasting pale.

On tap at the lancaster ave location.
A- comes to me with a finger or so of bright white fluffy head that settles in a bit to a thin ring. Pale straw yellow in color with a bit of haze.
S- herbal and vegetative with cut grass and fresh greens. A hint of musty barnyard. Pale malts come off with a bit of dough.
T- crisp and clean pale malts and bright veg hopping. Green grass and a bit of lemon peel. Powdery at times.
M- on the lighter side of body with a med or so level carb. Semi dry finish. Very refreshing.
D- this is a winner in my book. Super fresh and super easy drinkin. Check this one out if your in the area and if they ever bottle it I'll be snaggin six packs left and right.

Had this with dinner at the Chadds Ford/202 location.
Appearance -- 1 finger white head. Yellow/Golden body color.
Smell -- Light floral hops and grain.
Taste -- Good. Crisp. Floral/grassy hops with a nice doughy/grainy malt backbone. A little barnyard musk taste in there... hard to put my tongue on exactly what it was.
Mouthfeel -- Light/medium. Very refreshing.
Drinkability -- Good. Definitely an easy drinker. Goes good with all their food. Something that'd be nice to have out on the deck once their outdoor section opens.
