Heavy 12oz bottle, capped and corked, $5.99 at McKinnon's grocery in Portsmouth NH. Served room temp in a small tulip.
A: Reddish tan brew with vigorous carbonation. It puts up a good 1/2" of frothy head that settles in a matter of seconds. All that remains is a thick meniscus along the glass.
S: Smells super tasty, almost like raspberry ginger ale (I mean that in the nicest way possible, no insult intended). Nice mix of spicy ginger, pepper and a hint of clove. Obligatory barnyard stale horse piss funk mixed wtih dry hay. Sour fruity twang like sour cherries and unripe raspberries. Clean, bright candi sugar sweetness rounds out the body but not in a cloying way. A real treat to the nose. I've been smelling it for a good 10 minutes now, not really in any hurry to move on. Also pulling out a hint of cinnamon and ripe strawberry.
T: Reeeally cloyingly sweet up front, wow, I wasn't expecting that. This is like a desert beer. Wish I was drinking it cold, putting the second half in the freezer. My fault for not knowing the difference between Faro and regular Lambic. Anyway... ton of candi sugar up front. Barnyard stuff and sour stuff follow immediately and linger into the very long finish. Horse blanket and sour cherry vinegar.
M: The mouthfeel is like light sugar syrup with a bunch of carbonation. Viscous in a sugary kind of way, so much so that the vigorous carbo can't neutralize it. Yikes.
O: Maybe just not my thing, way too sweet. Will try the second half cold. Maybe I'll put it on pancakes or over ice cream or something. Jeez.

Appearance: Russet/orange; cloudy; no head at all
Aroma: Very sour; sickly sweet
Taste: Very sweet start; zippy in the mid, with a tart finish; almost pink grapefruit aftertaste; pretty good for a sweet dessert drink
Remarks: Did not score A, T, S, M at that time; disregard those scores

Date Rated: Feb. 3, 2013...
Glassware: Lindemans flute...
Occasion: Super Bowl Sunday--lose Baltimore!...
Appearance: dark copper body with a bright, white, thin hazy head; sediment flecks dance amidst fervent effervescence...
Aroma: flat, funky, punchy pungency; dryish as a wine, buts its wheat keeps the profile in the beer realm...
Palate: medium-bodied and fizzy; willpower must be invoked to keep from slamming the flute's contents...
Taste: sour and tart, as expected--not too puckerish; fruity and rewarding in its full flavor profile...
Overall: Part Super Bowl high, part beer-buying-binge-booty mood, my state of mind may have something to do with enjoying this beer and its style, which I haven't sprung for in a while; at $6 a bottle, pricey but provides a worthwhile experience...

Poured from a 250ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a brown colour with a small, quick to dissipate white head.
Smells of sugar and vinegar.
Tastes of mango-y tropical fruits, almost like coca-cola, and a burnt sugar & cinnamon taste with a soft hint of vinegar acidity competing with the sweetness on the finish. Nice, soft level of carbonation.
Overall a cheap but thoroughly enjoyable beer.

From Platinum. BB 04/14.
Appearance - reddish brown - two finger head. Stays nicely.
Smell - Funk, apples, vinegar.
Taste - Slightly sweeter front palate to smell, but not too sweet. Nicely balanced, with sour note left on palate.
Mouthfeel - light, zesty, well carbonated.
Overall - nice drop. Balanced flavours - yes I know it is not a sour bomb, but it goes down well.

A: poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass, brown amber colored with a short white head that dissipates quickly leaving little lacing, clear
S: funky, musty, wild, grapes, brown sugar, sour
T: simultaneous sweet and sour flavors, quite tasty, has fruity apple flavor, reminds me more of cider than beer, different but good
M: thin but sticy with high carbonation
O: I've never had this style before. It's quite sweet, which I'm alright with.

Reddish Amber color with a thin white head with little to no lacing. Smell; Very sour, almost pungent. The taste is sweeter than the aroma which is surprising, like a sweet tart, pleasant actually. Mildly carbonated, dry and a little bitter. Overall: A very good refreshing lambic, definitely worth a try.
