this is punishingly sweet, and there really is nothing lambic-esque about it. it pours a flat looking bronze color with literally no head. the nose is brown sugar and peach syrup, the kind starbucks uses to make your latte "special". the peach is artificial in taste too, sort of like dried apricots, but more crystalized on the sugar front. a good beer for kids, as it satiates the candy urge, and would require a gallon or two to catch a buzz (not that I advocate or condone youth and alcohol...). teeth rottingly sweet, but not boring. it really needs more bubbles, and I think the bottle does more justice to this than the tap, but it comes across a bit heavy with all the residual sugar and no bubbles to keep it moving. overall this is well made I suppose, but its not beer as we know and love it, its something to keep the wife busy while you guzzle IPAs and figure out how much you've got to pay the babysitter. nothing special from my point of view.

I have had this beer several times at Tap Works in OKC and also poured from bottle at home. Both are pleasing but it is much better on tap.
For this review I am reviewing poured from a bottle into a Pint glass.

A- Pale Orange, slightly cloudy. With a perfect poor it gives a 1 finger off white head that quickly dissipates with slight lacing.

S- Peaches are the most prominent scent. Wet hay in the background, maybe some stale cardboard. A slight funk that smells really good with everything else.

T- Sweet peaches, Grass, Bitter almost lemony taste, and that funk that really makes me want to take another drink.

M- Over carbonated. Almost burns my mouth from the fizz. This is the only thing I wish was different.

O- Overall, I rate this beer at a 4.o. If the carbonation was a little lighter This would easily get a 4.5. I can't rate at a 5 because even though this is a great beer, it's not something that I can drink everyday. It's a once or twice a year drink.

Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow with a small white head. In the aroma, sugary, tart peach skin. In the taste, quite sugary and small tartness of peach skin. A small tart bite, but mainly smooth and medium to lighter bodied mouthfeel, with a small dry tart peach skin in the aftertaste. Kind of like a gummy peach ring, and it is line smell, taste, and aftertaste all the way through.

On-tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad

A: The pour is a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a couple fingers of white head.

S: Smells like what you would expect from Lindemans. Lots of sweet peaches and peach candy. Underneath it all, there is a slight acidity, grass, and wet oak smell which helps to combat the sugary nature of the beer.

T: Like with the nose, there is a lot of sweetness. The peach flavor is quite intense, which is what I do like about it. Again, there is a subtle acidity and mustiness to it, but overall quite sweet.

M: Medium in body with a fairly high level of carbonation.

O: Certainly quite sweet in terms of the flavor, but not the worst of the Lindemans products.

Had this on-tap at Father's Office in Santa Monica. Pours a pale yellow colour with thin white head. Smells strongly of peach, but also candy sugar. Flavour is both sweet and tart, quite a nice balance between the two flavours. Very smooth carbonation. This may be too sweet for me to drink more than one in a sitting, but it is good.

Pours a hazy, bubbly honey-amber with a decent white head. Rather strong aroma is sweet and mainly of peach. Flavor is peachy and quite sweet, more like nectar or schnapps than beer, with an undertone of malt. Texture is very smooth and rather fizzy. A good dessert beer.

Poured on tap at the Yard House in Long Beach (yes, I know, but my girlfriend wanted dessert). It poured a nice golden color with a quickly disappearing head.

In the nose were peaches, lots of peaches with a little it of beer and something else underneath. A truly remarkable smell.

The taste was likewise exceptional, bursting with peaches, sweet, but not overwhelming countered by a nice graininess and a finish with a hint of lambic sourness.

It felt lovely on the palate, smooth and drinkable. Very nice to find it on tap.

Had this at Alisal Cellars in Solvang, CA USA.

A - Orangy gold in the glass with a decent ehad and amazing lacing.

S - Super over-the-top peach scent, from a mile away even after it sat for about 20 minutes.

T - This tastes like peach juice, not beer. A bit sour and ridiculously sweet. If I was rating juice the taste would get a 5.0.

M - Mid-full.

D - Drinkable only if you like soda, juice or cough syrup...all of which I love, but even MY mouth puckered up on this one.

This was my first Lambic and I don't think I was prepared, lol.

massive nose of sweet fruit and jam

big soft pink head

medium body - more than you would think

smooth mouthfeel, slightly sticky sweetness

great fruit forward flavor, just enough tartness to finish

search it out and compare to the bottle.

beats the more common framboise by a long shot

I am partial to peach flavour and its healthy qualities.Lots of lace, a bit too sweet and peach aroma and taste. A bit of tartness and I would have liked more. Dessert beer. The taste is real and I would like to try fresh. Sampled at Cole's Belgian fest.
Sweetish but very good on tap at the Old Toad,

Yeah!
This beer actually reminds me a lot, A LOT, of a few American Strong Ales I've tried. The beer is sour, as sour as Lindeman's gets, while also maintaining real beer flavour, which I DON'T expect from Lindeman's.

I love it. Sour, and peachy. It's a rotten peach that's been dropped in the finest helles. I love it.

Yeah, it's cool. It lacks the yoghurt flavours I've experienced with other fruit lambics. If I didn't know what it was, I'd mistake it for an overly yeasty fruit ester beer.

Yeah.

Served on tap into a Lindeman’s flute, this is a light copper color, active carbonation evident, a finger of white head without much retention. Slight lacing on the glass. Aroma is all peaches, fairly strong, not overly sweet, very nice. Taste is a nice smooth peach, sweet but never cloying, finishing just slightly tart, very nice lingering peach aftertaste. This is a one note beer, as most of these fruity Lindeman beers are, but it really hits that note wonderfully. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, not as fizzy and bubbly as when served from a bottle, this makes it better IMO. This is probably the best of the Lindeman beers that I’ve had.

An excelent peach lambic. The beer poured a nice peachy golden color with a nice white head. The smell was very friuty and sweet, full of peaches and a bit of an apricot scent. When I sipped the beer the flavor of peaches exploded in my mouth followed by a nice dry sourness that counteracted the sweetness perfectly. Definantly a great desert beer and one that may cross over some non beer drinkers.

Wow this is a crushing taste of peach. The almost peachy color of this beer that has almost no head but plenty of carbonation sets up what the rest of the beer will be. It has an intense peach nose and the beer is sweet smelling too. The taste is tongue pulverizing a sweet lambic with a touch of souring characteristics and nothing but peach for miles around. It has a pleasent aftertaste that lingers of peach and a resonating sweetness. As I work my way through this one the taste deadens the senses and eventually it becomes more and more palatable. For sure this is not a session beir, but it is enojyable as a twelve ounce desert.

Poured a deep gold with some bubbles on top
Smell was of sweet peaches
Taste was good. It was sweet but not sickeningly sweet. There was a nice amount of peach flavor. Like a peach pie not like a raw peach if that makes sense.
Mouthfeel was a bit too carbonated but not enough to make it bad...just mediocre
Drinkability was ok... i liked the flavor and even though it was not overly sweet the sweetness might get to you after a few of these and the carbonation definately detracts.

Nice beer to find on tap, usualy arund Rochester its only the kriek. Poured in a lindeman's flute, which is a big plus for me. Had a smell spritzy white head woth a dirty yellow body full of carbonation. Smell was cool, with lots of bubblegum flavors and just a lingering hint of the peach. The taste was very refreshing with more peach, just a little of the musty funk of a lambic and a ton of sparkling champagne characteristics. There was also a good deal of dry tart body that helped make this very refreshing. The mouthfeel was very carbonated and usually I am not a fan of overcarbonation, but with a lambic it always seems to hit the sopt. Perfectly refreshing and always makes you question whether you are actually drinking a beer. Tasty even on a chillier night.

Well, reviewing this is more like reviewing wine than reviewing any beer. The color was golden, and there was no head. The smell was well, very peachy! The taste was very sweet, with very little hint of the lambic itself. The mouthfeel was quite smooth, as would be expected. One or two of these would be drinkable, although I think beyond that the sweetness would become too cloying. All in all, an excellent dessert drink, and a drink I would gladly give someone who normally doesn't like beer

Had a bottle of this at a cafe in Paris, France. 37.5cl bottle, best by 02/05/15, poured into a tulip.

a - Pours a hazy, murky bright orange color with one inch of bright white head and high carbonation evident.

s - Smells of sweet peach juice, sweet fruity malts, musty notes, oak, tropical fruits, sugar. Nose is super sweet, but it smells very good; like their other lambics but with peaches, obviously.

t - Tastes of sweet peach juice, swete fresh peaches, sugar, fruity malts, bread. Too sweet of a taste for me.

m - Medium body and low carbonation. Easy to drink, like juice.

o - Overall a decent Lindemans; basically like all their other beers but peach flavored, so just depends which fruit you like best. I like peaches and while I liked the nose, the taste was too sweet for me to handle...split a 375 with my girlfriend as she loved it and I couldn't handle the whole thing myself. Worth checking out if you like their other stuff, but don't expect a sour lambic.

Lindemans Peche pours a color somewhere near burnt amber and copper with a decent amount of clarity, save for a bit of haze in the middle of the glass. The head pillows up quite large; eggshell in color and crackling as it quickly recedes to a mere skin that blankets the peach brew.

I've gotta say, the aroma of this one is much funkier than all of the other Lindemans fruit lambics that I've tried. Huge rounds of yeast, cork, must, damp cellar, barnyard, and just overall funk invade the nostrils with a surprising poignancy. The peaches come through pretty strong as well; juicy, tart peaches and apples skins mix well with the funk.

Some underlying sweet malt and soft wheat outline the rougher edges of the aromatic profile and balance things out just a bit more. I'm pretty excited to finally bring this one to my lips, as I love peaches, and this definitely has the best nose of all the Lindemans lambics. The funk really surprised me, and I can't wait to finally try it.

Unfortunately, I'm a bit let down by the flavor. The strongest thing I taste is not the funk of the yeast or the tart of the peach - it's a residual-like, sugary sweetness that immediately breaches your palate and confiscates all other flavors. It still tastes like peaches, but sugar-coated, exceedingly-sweet peaches, rather than tart and sour peaches, which is kind of what I was hoping for.

I guess there's a light tartness at the start, but it's VERY light and gets quickly overtaken by the sweetness. Funk is much less noticeable, although some vinous oak and tannin notes pop out that weren't relevant on the nose - so that's certainly a plus. The aftertaste is full of sweet peaches and a touch of oak. I really wish the funk was as heavy on the palate as it was in the aroma, but sadly - it is not. Crisp mouth feel, dry, heavy carbonation.

If this thing tasted closer to how it smelled, it would have been awesome. A tart, funk peach-fest, but by aroma only. The taste lead on to a much sweeter, sugary style of peaches that still tasted fine, but could easily wear down a palate (or even a sweet tooth). More funk, more tart, and less sweet is the key. For some strange reason, my nose was pleased but my taste buds were not.

12oz green corked capped and foiled bottled.

A: pretty clear pale straw color. Light cap of tiny little bubbles

S: fresh peach and tartness in the background.

T: opens with sweet pale ale flavor obviously sweetened. Then the peach flavor washes over the palate. It finishes kind of musty but it is a good way to end the sip. Leaves a lingering sweetness.

M: pretty standard light end of medium for body but it is exactly how it should be.

O: Lindmans doesn't fail, this is just as good as the frambois. Could be that peaches and raspberries are my favorite fruits though.

375ml bottle served in a Lindemans flute glass

Appearance: Golden yellow color and fairly clear. What little head did form dissipated instantly. No lacing.

Smell: Fresh peaches dominate the aroma with some apple, and a sugary sweetness. There's a slight acidity and funk in the background as well.

Taste: There's a huge blast of sugary sweetness right from the beginning that lasts through the finish and distracts from anything else that's going on with the beer while it's in the mouth. Aftertaste is fresh peaches and nectarines with some slight tartness.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied and crisp mouthfeel. Carbonation on the higher end of medium.

Overall: I was disappointed with this one. There were some nice peach flavors and aromas, which saved it from being a bomb, but I'd still stay away from this one. It's too sweet and lacks the sour, tart, and funky characteristics you'd look for in a Belgian Lambic. This was more like drinking an expensive peach soda.

Been meaning to try this and some of the other Lindeman's variations for a while now and finally got around to pulling the trigger.

Pours a clear dark gold with lots of carbonation although the head fizzes away pretty quickly. Smells of peaches, peach juice, a little tartness.

The taste is again lots of peach, lots of sugary sweetness and very mild tartness/sourness in the aftertaste. Thin, crisp, and very drinkable if you enjoy sweeter beers. I could easily chug this like a soda.

As a big fan of fruit beers and ciders this is really enjoyable to me even if it does border on being too sweet once you near the end of the bottle. For those who aren't a big fruit beer fan this will probably be WAY too sweet so you might want to steer clear. I really enjoy it though, it's a nice treat.

A - light orange, even dare I say, peachy in color, with a finger and a half of off white head, plenty of swift carbonation streams

S - definite fruit aromas. You can definitely determine it is reminiscient of pitted orchard fruits; peaches, nectarine, apricots, etc. Doesn't smell fake or added on, but doesn't smack entirely of authentic natural aromas

T - The taste quells my fears from the aroma. What an amazing flavor, mellow, subtle, laid back, relaxed. Mild, not tangy, not sharp, winderful clearly peach sparkling beer. One of the better Lindemans varieties I have ever tried.

M&D&O - so perfectly drinkable, inoffensive, gregarious, makes friends really easy, situations where I brought over a bottle of Lindemans Framboise may get replaced with this nectar

The golden body, tending to amber, supports a very pale, almost white neck. The smell of peaches is dominant on other floral scents presents in the background.

The taste is loyal to the aroma, but now the sourness shows up. I don't notice any hop taste. This medium-body beer has an incredible ability to go through the palate without any notice - it's pretty interesting. Also, it seems to be a very good alternative for a champagne.
