Appearance: Translucent golden hue with a thin off-white head.
Aroma: Apple, vinegar.
Taste: Like green apple candy. Very sweet up front and then tart on the back end. A pleasant flavor but nothing all that interesting.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied but very robust for such a low ABV. Average drinkability.
Final Thoughts: Literally like drinking sparkling apple juice. Would I drink it again? If I'm in the mood for something sweet.

A: Chinese gold, or gold with an amber tinge, some particles suspended within (flecks of iron colour particles) little beige foam, slight cloudiness.
S: Apples, apple juice, beer malt, apple cider, sweet floral orchard, flowers in bloom.
T: I get the apple cider qualities of a light crisp sweetness, crisply carbonated body, then the apple juice, lambic sour, musty mould qualites, with a dry finnish. Slight sweetness of the apples to balance it.
M: Light body to medium body, well carbonated, dry with dry finnish.
O: Delicious and refreshing beer. Glad to have found this one though it was overpriced. Not one I would particularly go out of my way for as a cider where available would do the trick if you are going for this sort of flavour. I do enjoy it immensely, and it has more body than most ciders. Would go well with fatty meats.

250ml bottle 3,5% Abv.
Served chilled in an oversized wine glass.
Best before: 24/05/2014
Appearance: Moderately hazed golden-yellow body, topped by a medium sized white head that fizzes away pretty quickly and doesn’t leave anything in the way of lacing.
Smell: Well yes, this smells like apple juice (not much of a surprise since the standard Lindeman’s geuze tasted just like apple juice). The nose is basically a combination of fresh green apples, sweet apple juice and tart apple flavoured candy. There is virtually no lambic character present.
Taste: As with the nose, the flavor is dominated by fresh green apples and tart apple candy. There is also a light grainy character and yet again no lambic character.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel here is actually surprisingly pleasant – light body with a medium level of fantastically smooth carbonation.
Overall: Well I preferred this to the Lindeman’s geuze, but it is still a little worrying that this stuff is marketed as lambic!
