look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4

Appearance: Pours the darkest, possible brown…limited khaki colored head…(4/5)

Smell: Chocolate, malt, some coffee and the tinniest bit of dark fruits…tons of chocolate though, very nice… (3.5/5)

Taste: Lots going on here…toasted malts and dark fruits beginning then blending with soft bitterness, coffee, mocha and some cream flavor…very nice…(4.5/5)

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a bunch of carbonation…very nice…some chocolate milkshake flavor…it is a bit watery…(3.5/5)

Overall: This is a very drinkable beer…let it sit out a bit from the fridge for the best flavor…the chocolate smell is outstanding and ultra inviting…chocolate aroma, dark fruits and toasted malts make a great combination here…though there isn’t as deep a chocolate flavor as the aroma advertises…a twinge of bitterness in the deep background, but it very minimal…flavor and carbonation are excellent, this is definitely one of my favorite milk stouts to date…this is a delicious malty brew…(4/5)

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.

As a sorta-Polish guy, I'm really interested in the origin of this beer's name. Regardless thereof, this stuff pours a deep black-brown topped by a finger of khaki foam. The nose comprises roasted malts, light coffee, and a hint of sweet cocoa. The taste brings in more of the same, with the cocoa appearing more as a bit of dark chocolate powder. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, though a touch thin for my particular tastes, this still stands as one of the best offerings MKE has yet put out, a tasty, sessionable milk stout. Good times.

Pours dark, almost black, with a 1.5 finger foamy tan head. Reduces slowly, leaves decent lacing and a bubbly film on top.

Smell is milk chocolate, some roast malts, a little coffee. Pretty standard, and pretty tame. Nothing special.

Taste is milk chocolate, a light tanginess that's pretty off-putting, maybe a little bit of roast? Very one dimensional, not very good.

Mouthfeel is okay. A little thin, but not bad.

Very average milk stout. Not really worth seeking out.

A rising crest of mocha foam sits on top and rises above the rim of the tulip glass momentarily. Sheets of lace form inside the glass in a thorny halo pattern.

Mellow milk chocolate and lightly roasted malts in the aroma.

Smooth light bodied feel, lower carbonation, mellow roastiness comes off a bit like toasted marshmallow and hershey syrup. A touch of char, mellow chocolate sweetness. A session beer for chocolate lovers if ever there was. Feels a little thin but it's smooth and creamy. Enjoyed this overall.

Bottle poured into an Imperial pint glass.

A - Really nice dense light brown head. Nearly completely opaque. Has some spotty lacing down the glass.

S - Rich and complex chocolate tones, too mellow to be described as coffee. Has really smooth roasty malts.

T - Has some of those great sugary residuals. Nice sweetness followed by mellow dark malts that don't infuse harsh bitterness. Has plenty of malt depth contributing grainy flavor from base malts to nutty crystal malts.

M -Medium to medium-light in body with a moderate amount of carbonation.

O - I enjoyed this brews sweetness in taste quite a bit. No real issues with this beer at all. I thought the mouthfeel and carbonation were style appropriate and the malts blended very well. My favorite Milwaukee brewing company beer so far.
