On-tap at Boylan Bridge served in a standard pint glass a nice opaque black with a frothy tan head that is slow to diminish and leaves great lacing. Aroma is a nice amount of roasted malts. The taste is a nice sweet amount of roasted malts with hints of molasses and bitter cocoa. The beer is on the light side of medium bodied with decent carbonation.
