Pours a clear golden color with a few specs of year floating around the glass. The head is off white and at first two fingers high. The retention is great with a sticky lacing around the glass after a sip.
The aroma is light but stays true to the style. Sweet banana, clove and grassy hops, as well as soft bread hints from the remanding yeast.
Honey like malt sweetness matched with a healthy booze content. But, the saaz hop used in this ale helps balance the sweetness of the malt and alcohol.
The finish is rather sweet, but nothing overwhelming. This brewery has hands down but there own twist on a classic ale. Making it almost American

I'm new at this sort of beer, which makes it risky for me to order them. This beer was a risk worth taking, very smooth for a high volume beer.
Enjoyed in a tulip alongside Buffalo Chicken at The Village Draft House in Raleigh. Would definitely recommend this beer.

Pours a pale yellow with white, 1 finger head.
Fruity esters are dominant. Orange peel, lemon, and an odd hint of banana. Peppery spice in the background.
On the sweeter side, with plenty of belgian candied sugar. Fruit is light, and there is little bitterness. Also the alcohol is very well masked at 9%.
Nice chewy body with the right amount of carbonation.

This beer is very pale, a light yellow with active bubbling rising to the top to continue building up a strong fluffy, creamy pure white head. Retention is good, and it falls quite slowly from just over one finger to a heavy billowing foam. Lacing is left pretty thickly in both patches and heavy spotting in plenty.
The nose is light, but I get mostly spicing over some pale fruits and a hint of banana sneaking out.
A little peppery spice, banana and clove are strong and, as a pleasant surprise, some floral and herbal hops bitterness come out strong.
The body is light and the carbonation is moderate. The crispness up front stays all the way, and there's a good smoothness alongside it. The finish leans dry as hops pull out the rest of the way.

This golden colored tripel has a decent head and lacing. The rather floral aroma features fruity Belgian yeast with, perhaps, a bit less banana/clove and a bit more wheat than usual. The taste is relatively bitter and tart with some sweet balance; more tart than sweet or bitter. Complex. Near medium body; smooth with low (a tad too low?) carbonation.
O: a decent tripel with well hidden alcohol.

With Belgium at heart, the full complexion of this Belgian-styled Tripel Ale is of its fruit and spice balance that plays out over a raw doughy taste.
Golden-straw in color, It's light haze shows full carbonation that fuels a strong creamy head. Slightly off white, the ale leaks a strong lacy collar in true Belgian form
The beer is all fruit and spice in the nose: banana and clove charges in; taking on Hefeweizen-type aromatics. A rebuttal of white pepper and soft wheaty back the grassy hops before concluding with pilsner grain scent and is modestly white wine-like.
Medium-sweet to the early palate, the beer promotes a part-grain and part-malt taste that's rich with fruit: apricot, mango, lemon, banana and apple. Spicy with clove, white pepper and herbal, stemmy hops that are delicately grassy and floral to balance the malts and offer complexities of all their own..
Medium-creamy at the onset, the mouthfeel puts forth a careful dryness; carrying a complex residual sweet tone. But the rich slightly candied character retains the beer's structure while providing effortless drinkability and semi-dry warmth in finish.
Where the taste of banana and clove are common in Tripel Ales, the height of their proportions are much more of German Hefeweizen than of Tripels. Its fuller body and bready taste also pulls the ale toward classic German wheated ales than the more zesty and wine-like dryness of Tripels. Style critique aside, the beer brings satisfaction easily to the taste buds, stomach, and mind.

mostly clean, slightly hazy golden/yellow in color with a finger of foamy white head which dissipated quickly but gave off some great lacing. sweet herbal scents of grass, tea leaves, sugarcane, lemongrass. a funky bitter flavor up front, almost mushroom-like, lots of sweet sugary bready malt, grassy bitterness throughout, pretty heavy on the booze presence. medium body with high carbonation, a nice warmth builds up in the chest.
this is a decent tripel. balances out the typical sweetness with lots of grassy/herbal hops nicely.
