A-Peach colored...nice lace on the glass as I drink
S-Nice big hop aroma...tropical fruits(light mango), citrus (tangerines, grapefruit), and pine...very hop forward....reminds me of some of the IPA's from California
T-Again hop forward....good tight bitterness to this as the pine punch is strong...also good citrus (grapefruit, tangerines) flavor as well...resiny hop bill...pine not as strong as on the nose but evident....the malt (thinking caramel) is definitely in the background ..
M-Perfect body and carbonation...dry on the finish with a good hop bite.
O-If you like IPA's that leave a hop impression this one would be for you. A lot of unsweetened grapefruit on the finish...never borders on hop juice as the malt backing adds just enough to balance a little.
I imagine some will love this to death. I personally like a sweeter citrus take on the hops but can appreciate this for what it is....a quality, well made IPA that could fit nicely in California. They cite seven hop varieties on the bottle but don't name them. Would guess Chinook, and Amarillo are apart of it for sure..
****Just bumped scores up a little...had Saga immediately after this and Saga did not hold up to this one....am doing a six IPA blind taster this weekend with Saga, Hop Dish, Two-Hearted, O'Dell and a couple others to further evaluate its greatness***

Thanks to Kevin for this new to me beer
A - Great color and head. The main event with the appearance is the awesome stickage with tons of it sticking to the glass and a thin cap of head crowning the top of the brew.
S - Big tropical fruits hitting, mostly pineapple and mango. Slight herby notes alomst like cilantro. There is also a pretty big butter-y presence. Also a slight nutty presence come in and out
T - Really nice balance with some strong malts rounding out the big hops. Really solid bitterness, but not enough to throw it off. Nice and clean finish with some pine finally showing up. Just solid, nothing too crazy
M - Really nice and light, but there is a kind of buttery feel to it that is not that pleasant

Hop DIsh pours a dark golden color, with a nice large lacing head. Their are floral notes, but a nice golden malty aroma also comes through. The taste has a strong crisp malty taste, with floral notes coming through as well. A very well balanced IPA. Overall a very drinkable enjoyable and balanced IPA.

This beer pours a hazy dark orange color. The head is a half an inch in height, and recedes quickly into sparse lacing. The aroma is of grapefruit, pine and tangerines. It is fairly aromatic, but it smells uninspired to me. I've smelled a lot of IPAs like this one, and most of them didn't do much for me. The taste is similar to the aroma, and has a vrry subdued bittrrness. So subdued, in fact, that most modern day APAs have a more pronounced bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation for the style. Overall, this isn't the IPA for me. I can't see myself drinking this again.
