Had this beer today at the Mad Capper in Stillwater with the guys from the brewery.
Served in a snifter/tulip glass.
Pours a 1 finger slight pink head. Fades quickly and leaves some slice lace. Color is an appealing orange-hued clear pink.
Aroma: Very interesting flavors. It has a nutmeg and cinnamon spices. Yeasts and clove as well, then comes the lingonberries.
Taste: pretty much identical to the smell. A lot like the regular MN Tan, but has the unique spices to it. One thing that is great about this beer, is that the spices are overdone, but they do cover up the lingonberries a bit.
Mouthfeel is crisp and spicy. Light to medium bodied. Decent amount of carbonation. Ends with an aftertaste full of the nutmeg and cinnamon.
Overall, this beer is unique and well done. Because of the spices, I think this beer would be particularly great as a winter seasonal. The crew from lift bridge keep on impressing me. Well done.
