A nice place to watch live music and drink decent beer while you are visiting the greater Dayton area. One Eyed Jacks has a nice selection of brews on tap (around 20 kinds) including Founders Red Rye and Breakfast Stout, DogFish 90 IPA, Bell's Two Hearted Ale, New Holland Poet, and many others. Food is pretty good but nothing too fancy (it is a bar). The service is always good and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable for what you get (7.95 for a cheeseburger and fries).
Overall its relaxed place with a good selection of brews.

14 taps, 1 - nitro on Guinness. 3 taps were empty. 6 were what could be called craft beers - ther rest were typical crap. Bottle beer was limited - surprising given the size of the beer frig - looked like they had mixers in 1/3 of the frig. Disappointing given what I had read on the previous reviews. Completely agree with one previous review about eating somewhere else then coming in to have a beer or two. Music wasn't out of control per previous review - but they were doing a trivia game. Wait staff seemed rise to the occasion - on their game when busy but hard to get their attention when slow. Had a couple of good beers - Two Brothers Cane & Eble and a saison by New Holland. Food was over-priced but beer price was pretty good ~ $5 per beer.

In a mini mall in Fairborn next to Wright State. The place is divided in two parts, one with the bar and the other with pool tables and a couple round tables. The other side has bar seating and booths as well.
Service is prompt and polite. I was served one time by a 12 year old (no she didn't bring my beer) but all the other waitresses seem knowledgable about their beers and are prompt and polite.
Beer selection is very nice, lots of DFH, Lagunitas, Bells, Stone and they change regularly. The owner seems dedicated to craft beer and holds regular tastings of hard to find beers.
Food is normal fried bar chow. Better to hit some of the other restaurants nearby before going for a beer.
Prices are very reasonable.
Now for the bad bits. Music. Uggh. The loud stuff starts at 9:00 and before that they have some (edited for politeness) running the music. Desktop computer with an I-Pod set on shuffle. Frequent feedbacks that damn near break your eardrums, the music is too damn loud, even at the round tables it is hard to have a conversation. We asked him to turn it down but 10 minutes later he cranked it back up again. Tony Orland and Dawn, Knock 3 Times...I wanted to kill him. We always leave at 9:00 when the BMC, loud music lovers come in. The owner has posted here that he now has Wed, nights for quiet craft beer nights. We'll see very soon.

This place has really stepped up the quality of their draft selection. I stop in about once a month and it's apparent they are making nice changes to this relatively new bar across from Wright State. It's in a strip mall and the atmosphere isn't all that special. They offer typical bar food, which is decent and value priced.
They have about 12 taps of which most are microbrews. Last time I was in Founders dominated with Breakfast Stout, Reds Rye, Backwoods Bastard. Also Troegs pale ale, and a few others which I cannot remember. The taps are on a slow rotation. There is typically a band or DJ on the weekends and sometimes events during the week (rarely a cover). If you're in the area, definitely a decent place to grab a good beer.
