Patricia is a classic Uruguayan beer, and although not extremely different to Pilsen, I sense it has a bit more flavor, and character. Smooth beer going down, and easy to drink period. Easily better than the majority of Adjunct lagers one could drink.

During my travels to Uruguay, we were in Montevideo summer time with about 35 degrees Celsius. after walking on this weather by the beach we were craving a beer, any beer. I dont know if it was too hot and we were desperate but this beer tasted like heaven. smooth lager, soft to the palet and very refreshing. Not bad at all. However, It seems that i was having this beer in the right conditions and in the right place. Maybe it would be different if these conditions were not present. Cheers Montevideo!!

Yellow color. I made a three fingers white head with low to medium retention.
Aroma of corn but also hints of lemon.
Taste of a balanced adjunct lager with a bit more hops. Aftertaste mildly bitter and metallic.
Light body with high carbonation.
Refreshing beer, not too high in off-flavors. Barbecue beer. I felt a bit better than Ambev (Brazil) second tier adjunct lagers given the marginal higher bitterness, but below first teat such as Bohemia, though they own it anyway.

Light golden colored beer that looked great chilled in the bottle. The smell is slightly fruity, and all-though not overly complex, pretty nice. The taste of this beer has some solid character to it.
Very drinkable beer, and refreshing in my opinion. I had about 20 of these through-out my 2 week trip to Uruguay. Never a bad choice, but a rare find in the U.S.
A nice pair up with grilled meats, and barbeque.
