Poured from 22oz bottle. Thanks goes out to not only betsona (Andrew) for bringing the bottle but Supernova777 (Josh) for letting us come over to drink it!
A- Pours a hazed golden orange color. Three finger white head shows great retention. Thick chunks of lace with some light webbing left on the sides of the glass.
S- There is a nice wheat undertone to the aroma which is blanketed by soft notes of banana and clove. Good citrus aroma as well with light grassy hops. Light alcohol in the ending blends into the beer bringing it back full circle. A clean smelling beer with all the right balancing parts in the right places.
T- Nice wheat and citrus overtone right off the bat with the flavor profile. This leads into a light grassy and floral hop middle that overthrows the hints of wheat in there. Lemon and light grassy notes linger long into the ending before a light earthy hop and light alcohol finish this beer off.
M- Medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. Lemongrass and wheat are left on the palate. Aftertaste is mostly light alcohol, earthy hops, and wheat. Flavors were clean and balanced blending well into each other. No off flavors at all while drinking this one. Medium alcohol drying on the palate.
O- This beer was a pleasure to drink and one that I was waiting on. It was clean and overall tasted great. The ABV was low and therefore would have no problem drinking a whole 22oz of this. Yet another great beer from those guys at Pretty Things!

A: Pours a slightly hazy honey-gold with two fingers of beige head that fades into a thin ring with no lacing.
S: Belgian spices up front with a lot of bubblegum and candy sugar following. Light fruit notes and sweet breads bring up the finish.
T: Belgian spices here as well with some candy sugar and sweet fruits. The finish has a chalky yeast character that is slightly bitter and a light alcohol presence. The yeasty flavors leave a not-pleasant bitterness (this was the first pour from a bomber that had been standing upright for weeks and was carefully decanted)
M: Medium-light body with medium carbonation, I could use either a lighter body and/or a bit more carbonation.
O: An alright saison overall, though nothing special. I tend to prefer the less sweet and more funky saisons, but this one is more of the American style. The yeast flavors in it are a little unpleasant and it's a bit too thick and sweet for me.

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a St. Bernardus goblet. Bottled in May 2012.
A: Two whites of fluffy, tight lace with great retention. Some effervescence in a translucent, hazy golden ale.
S: Sweet fruit and Belgian yeast. Golden raisins, spicy grain, floral esters.
T/M: Decent saison, but not exceptional. A zesty, spritzy mouthfeel ameliorates a flaccid maintaste full of nutty banana bread and flowery yeasts. A tad sharp and peppery, but only for a moment, before a round, sweet fruitiness takes over and leads you out. The aftertaste is lightly bitter, but not in an entirely pleasant way (it's like chewing on a root).
O: I love Pretty Things beers, so maybe my expectations were a little high. This was a good beer, but I've had better from the brewery and from the style. The best part is the malt beer -- the introduction of oats is interesting, but smooths things out a little much for my liking. The rye is better suited to the beer, but could have been more prominent.
