Poured from a 22oz bottle into a standard pint glass.
A - pours a cloudy medium straw with a 2 finger rocky white head.
S - sweet. Wheat. Lots of typical belgian spicey, peppery estery profles, especially as t warms.
T - pepper, belgian, hoppy, earthy, wheaty, malty, fruity
M - full bodied. A little fuller than I prefer Triples.
D - middle of the road. Not easy nor difficult to consume.
Overall, not a bad beer. I was expecting a little more hoppiness, but I'm not sure of the bottle age

22oz bottle purchased for $6.99. March 2013 bottle date.
A- Slightly hazy on the first pour. A touch more so on the second. Nice fluffy. White head with excellent retention. Great picture perfect carbonation feeding the head.
S- I could smell banana the minute I began pouring my first glass. There are great clove spice notes amid other yeast notes. Bubblegum, pineapple, lemon zest, and plenty of banana.
T- Sweet tropical and citrus fruits open. They are accompanied by a medium slick body that really supports them so nicely. Pineapple, banana, lemon, and plenty of yeasty spice. It's all kept in balance. The sweetness builds and carries into the finish that features spice, a nice mild herbal hop bitterness, and a mild phenolic note. The alcohol is integrated and nods its cap only slightly in the finish. The hops cut through the sweetness and make a memorable appearance without stealing the spotlight.
MF- Medium body with moderate carbonation and a great slick fullness in the finish. It's certainly not as effervescent as some of the Belgian versions or even other American versions. That said, it carries the fruity flavors so well and does the alcohol content justice.
O- This is a complex brew, but can be simplified as a hoppy tripel. Plenty of tropical fruit, citrus rind, and spicy yeast notes. It's balanced in some ways, but has so much personality. It's absolutely an expressive and unique tripel, but is put together so well. Well done. Dependable. Exciting. Complex. That said, it can be enjoyed as both a special sipper or an everyday drinker. It's that flexible. This is Pretty Things.

Served on-tap at Lord Hobo in Cambridge, MA
A: Pours a clear golden yellow in color with light amounts of visible carbonation and some lemon yellow + orange highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense foamy white head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of pale malts with some lighter notes of yeast, spices, and some fruity sweetness.
T: Moderate flavors of pale malts with some light fruity sweetness and some moderate amounts of spices. Light amounts of yeastiness and a light amount of bitterness in the finish which fades quickly.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: This is a really enjoyable beer but one that needs to be enjoyed slowly as the ABV is fairly high and the alcohol is somewhat noticeable. I was really happy to find this beer again since I had really enjoyed it a few years back before I was writing reviews - I had fond memories of the beer and it was just as good.
