I should have noticed browsing their website, as they describe how well filtered, clean and crisp the beer is, after their careful yeast removal and filtration upon filtration.
Service was shockingly awful; despite being there one week before the arrival of summer throngs, I sat in a table (one of about ten with customers), and waited 30 minutes, nobody took my order.
I left the place, went accross the street for lunch and noticed over the following thirty minutes most of the other tables doing the same.
I returned later, decided to still give the food and beers a try. Most beers are quite watery and served on plastic cups; ribs are average but overpriced.
Just an enormous waste of my time.

Visited the brewpub while vacationing in Door County. Saw that it was the only microbrewery in the area, so decided to give it a try. Good location in a relatively busy town. Nice big patio, which is where we sat.
My friend and I got the sampler, which was served on a wooden board with a paper placemat identifying all the beers. Beers were served in little plastic cups. Not sure if you get real glass when you are inside, but the plastic cups were a little excessive. My wife got some wine, and she was served in a glass. Not quite sure what the rules were. The beers were pretty forgettable, and we did not have anything else past the sampler.
We got a chips and salsa appetizer, that was just OK.
Walked inside the bar, and saw that they had a nice window overlooking the brewery. The bar struck me as odd with the top being covered in industrial steel. Surface wasn't even flat. Decor was not very impressive either.
All being said, I will probably not be back if ever in Door County again.

Stopped in for a few pints while in Egg Harbor. I've been here numerous times just never put pen to paper before. Typical brew pub. Huge wood bar with high bar tables surrounding for eating and drinking. We sat next to the huge window that over looks the brew house. The brewer was actually in the brew house cleaning so that kept us entertained while we sucked down a few.
The beer was average at best. I got the pumpkin ale and my dad got the porter. Served in clean pints. They were out of the blonde which was a tad dissapointing when they only have 4 or 5 beer to begin with.
The wait staff was friendly and prompt.
Nothing really stands out about this place. Typical tourist trap with average beer. It's the kind of place I go to on every other year when in DC.

Shipwrecked is a nautically themed brewpub that sits on a prime corner in Egg Harbor, making it a go to destination for nearly every tourist that happens to walk by the place. The patio is situated on a triangle between two busy roads and offers up some excellent views and people watching. The "atmosphere" screams over-the-top, in-your-face, nautical and is clearly geared towards parting tourists from their money.
As for the beer and food, the beer sucks and the food looks pretty lousy as well. While I was willing to give the beer a go, I took a pass on the food and went elsewhere. There are six beers on tap, one of which is a seasonal beer.
Service is typical for a tourist area. That is not very good. Don't expect anyone to know anything about beer, either. This just isn't that kind of place.
One note, if you sit inside, they'll serve your beer in glass. If you sit on the outside patio, it comes in plastic cups.
If you need a beer fix, there is a market (Main Street Market) across the street that has a decent (not large, decent) selection of six packs and bombers that has more to offer than this place.

Right in downtown Egg Harbor, a nice looking enough place. Plenty of room both outside on the patio and inside the restuarant at lunchtime. Nice looking lengthy bar.
Six beers on tap - 5 regulars and one rotating seasonal. Summertime, so the rotate was a Hefeweizen. The sampler offers you all six, but in plastic cups, which is a bit of a downer. Its served on a placemat with a wooden plank, so at least its easy to maneuver on the table.
(The table of six next to me all were drinking bottled Bud Light, so what can you do?)
Decent enough food, pretty typical menu, sandwiches, burgers, some fish, basic apps. Nothing to go out of the way for, but the beers are pretty good - some better than others.
If you are in the area for a week, make a stop here, but don't need to plan around.

a decent stop for a brew in Door County, which is few and far between around those parts. some decent brews, but nothing special.
the atmosphere is sailor-themed (obviously), with a metal bar surface and a clean look. there are six brews on tap, five standard and one seasonal. the quality was good. the brews were all served in tumblers, but the bartender gave each a healthy head.
selection was average. six brews, pretty standard styles (porter, cherry wheat, blonde, copper ale, light ale, and an IPA), with a decent variety. the food is mediocre as well. do not expect much more than standard bar food with a little deeper of a menu. soups and sandwiches basically, with a bit more.
overall this is a good stop during a day trip or a weekend in Door County. it feels like the rest of the area, with a laid back atmosphere and reasonable prices. quality and selection are what hurts this place. the brewpub is part of an inn, so BAs can get a room for the night if driving is not an option. cheers!

I visited Shipwrecked while staying with a homegrown Sturgeon Bay family.
We were there in between the lunch and dinner crowds watching college football while the wives shopped so there wasn't much atmosphere to speak of.
As stated by others they had 6 beers on tap. I have to say I was disappointed by the plastic tasting cups and I only found one beer I would have again. They are definitely catering to the miller lite set.
Service was ok. We had lunch first and then stuck around for the samplers.
I'm glad I went, and being a beer geek, I would go again, but overall I was disappointed in the whole experience.

Selection: 6 beers on tap. Three were of the generic all malt lager/golden ale/pilsener/boring/blah/yuck variety. One was a fairly decent, albeit light porter another was a perfectly respectable pumpkin brew, and the final beer was a revolting pale ale with cherry cough syrup dumped in it. The staff didnt seem all that great accept for one waiter named Dave who seemed to know a lot more about beer and local watering holes than anybody else. Skipped on the food in favor of the pizza place around the corner. Enjoyed the seaside atmosphere despite its kitschiness because it just seemed to fit Door County. I think the slogan of the place pretty much explains their attitude about beer; Get Wrecked at the Ship Wreck.

An OK place to visit if you are in Door County Wisconsin. The service was good, the food OK and the beer drinkable, but nothing stood out. Being that this is on a major tourist route, I did not know what to expect. Neither my wife or myself were impressed by the food or beer. A fine place to have diner if you are passing through, but do not go out of your way to try this place. If you are in Egg Harbor, walk around, enjoy the shops, have diner at the brew pub and then seek out a beer of your choice at the market across the street for a nightcap.

Site right on a corner in downtown Egg Harbor, the patio make for a great place to sit and people-watch for an afternoon. The inside is decorated with nautical gear, and is clean and pleasant.
The brewpub serves 6 beers: 5 regulars and a rotating seasonal. They offer a sampler of their 6 beers for $4, which comes in small plastic cups. Unfortunately, the only way to drink the draft beer on the patio is in plastic, also.
The beers I tried were average, but the service was very good. The help didn't seem to know much about the beer or how it was made, though. Shipwrecked also offers souvenir glassware: growlers, pints, mugs, weiss glasses, and pilsner glasses.
While the beer isn't anything to write home about, the whole package is worth a stop in if you're in the neighborhood.
