Light copper in color. Really fresh hop nose with plenty of pine notes. Not enough malt backbone but IPA quality in the hop department.
Borderline session IPA -- but if you want to call it that, I'd turn around and say it is better than any session IPA I've ever cracked open.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty webs of lace on the glass.
Smells of pungent Galaxy hops and some light pale toasted malt. The grapefruit and citric fruit is off the charts in the nose. Taste is a bit more tame but still very fruity. The citric fruit comes on strong at first quickly being joined by some grassy and piney flavors as well as the lightly toasted pale grains. Smooth, bitter feel throughout.
Overall an excellent American pale ale. I would love to see this on a regular basis. It has tons of flavor and is easy drinking. Possibly my favorite pale ale to date from Pizza Boy.
