Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours hazy copper orange with a half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a small ring around the edge, leaving little to no lace on the glass.
Smells of pulpy pomegranate, lactic sourness, flowery roses, bit of basement must, almost a woody spice and some lightly toasted grain. Taste has the juicy fruit up front quickly being joined by the mild lactic sourness, doughy grain, rose hibs and the light must. The rosey fruit note is a little stronger in the taste than the nose. More tart than sour in the feel, bit of chewiness as well.
Overall a decent fruited sour. The pomegranate and rose hibs are definitely present and the sour base isn't overpowering. Another interesting sour in an ever growing line of them.
