Big thanks to Fletcher aka Hoppykillamonsta for this growler.
Pour is a nice light purple with a quarter inch of head. Split this three ways on Super Bowl and it was the highlight of a terrible game and other good brews.
Nice sour and mild tart. Really reminded me of the Side Project Blueberry Flanders I had at FOBAB. Just an incredibly delightful beer. Along with VSB this is one of the best sours I've had in a long while.

Served in a pizza boy snifter, poured from a 32oz growler
a very attractive purple/blue with a nice head after an aggressive pour. Picking up much if the wine barrels on the aroma, with a nice dose of the fruit. The taste is more tart than sour, but very drinkable. Medium carbonation and the wine really shows it's character as it warms. Glad I picked up a couple growlers on this but I'm not sure if they'll survive the next couple days.

From 02/01/14 notes. Had this one on tap at Al's in PA last week and brought a 32 oz. growler of it back to NY with me as I really liked it. Poured into a tulip.
a - Pours a nice reddish pink purple color with one inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident. Looks beautiful, sour the way blueberry sours look.
s - Smells of sour blueberries, tart sour dark fruits, tart jam, vinegar, floral notes, fruity malts, light spice. Nice nose with a ton of sour blueberries; smells very sour.
t - Tastes of sour blueberries, tart jam, dark fruity malts, spice, pepper, yeast, vinegar, earthy notes, and floral notes. Again, sour blueberry overload and I love it.
m - Medium bodied sour and moderate carbonation. Light acidity, very nice.
o - Overall I liked this one a lot. Aside from Sunny Side Up, this is probably the best beer I've had from Al's so far. Tons of sour blueberries and it is just very well made. Loved it and would love to have it again sometime.
