Stopped by after picking up some Kegs at Crannog. Nice looking brewpub with just a few people on this particular summer afternoon. Basic pub with OK beer but nothing too write home about. Our server was pretty good but knew little about the beer but my glass was never even close too empty. I had a burger that was very nice and some dry ribs that were also good. I'd drop by again if passing through Slamming Arm as I doubt there's anything better for miles in either direction on the Trans- Canada

An excellent find in Salmon Arm. Considering the location, this is impressive. A large bland space that houses a serviceable brewpub and decent restaurant. They offer a regular lineup of four beer with a Pilsner that's all organic and a very drinkable Brown Ale with the best being a hop forward Pale Ale (apparently a 2009 Okaganan Fest of Ale medalist). They also have a rotation of seasonal offerings, which was a rather bland stout (unfortunately it was not helped by being on nitro). A well put together pub menu that didn't just rely on the standards (Oceanwise certified seafood, quinoa salad, edamame, fish tacos).

Be sure to go across the street to the Blue Canoe Bakery - they use the brewpubs spent grains and beer in many of their breads and have excellent Nanaimo Bars.

Upscale brewpub atmosphere, but you pay for it. Good food but a bit pricey.

Quality of the beers served were fine. Relatively new place, served in the right glassware.

Service OK, a right amount, kept our glasses filled.

5 beers standard, and one more (raspberry ??) special, the Pale Ale ok, the brown ale pretty good, german lager good, not great, need more and a cask would be good. Very average selection for a brew pub. Beers around $6, no bargins.

Food is upscale, you can get burgers but much more including a pasta selection, steaks, seafood, etc. Very good place for the ladies.

Only place in town to get some brewed beer, not bad but this town could use a few more and more competition.

Had lunch there on the day the Olympic Torch passed through town. Local Rotary Club members were have their lunch and beers after the event. They wre having a good time and the beer and food was what would be expected in a neighborhood pub. I did the sampler and found all of the beers to be crisp and clean. Mostly lighter styles like pilsner, pale ale, brown, etc.

Big IPA's are not something you find in this part of BC, the beers were well made and satisfying.

The highlight was taking a picture of my wife and our traveling companion with a local Olympic torch runner and her torch. Apparently, if you are selected to run a leg of the relay, then you have the opportunity to buy the torch you carried.
