The place is located close to the Delta gates, and as such, when Delta is done for the day at about 7pm, this place closes. Nonetheless, I always stop here for a drink if I'm flying Southwest, as it's the only place at KCI that has Boulevard on tap. On my last three visits though, the Bully Porter was out. I'm convinced that they just stopped carrying it and have been putting a new plastic cup on the handle every day.
The food was lamentable. It's not even a shadow of the quality and flavor of the original Bryant's location in the city. I think they've just gotten a bunch of Sysco meat and recipes, and branded it all with KC's beloved Arthur Bryant name. But whatever they've done, they've done a great disservice to Arthur Bryant. I had some bland, flavorless pulled pork on a stale hoagie, sitting on a bed of soggy ruffles potato chips, and washed it all down with an airport-priced beer in a flavor-nullifying frozen glass.
Don't eat here. The beer is fine, if you ask for a non-frozen glass.

My Girlfriend and I were fortunate to find the Boulevard Pub in the Kansas City, MO Airport (MCI) Terminal B. Our return flight ended up being delayed by about 4 ½ hours - Thanks Delta! Having beer always helps in these situations. Usually the beer selection in an Airport is enough to make adults cry, but the Boulevard Pub has 4 of Boulevard Brewery's offerings on tap, plus the same old BMC. While I was there, they offered the Pale Ale, a "Summer" Wheat , a beer that tasted like a Dunkleweisen, and a Dry Stout. All the beers were good in spite of the low CO2 levels on the taps. This was my first exposure to Boulevard beers and I can see why the locals and area travelers like them. The staff was very friendly, not super beer knowledgeable, but really nice folk for an airport bar. The food wasn't bad for an airport either. This stop made a portion of the delay tolerable, would recommend it.

(Visited 06/2011): Boulevard's MCI bar is in Terminal B by gate 56.
The place is pretty small which is standard for airport bars/restaurants. Short bar and a few tables, and TVs to watch.
As for beer selection, there are 4 Boulevard beers on draught (Unfiltered Wheat, Pale Ale etc) plus a couple of the typical macros. The bottled selection consists of mostly domestic macros plus 2 Boulevard beers.
Service was decent on a weekday early evening. I do not go to an airport bar, even one based on a craft brewery with high expectations. The bartender was friendly and attentive and that is good enough for me.
I did not try any food on my visit.
Overall I maintain an "any port in a storm" mentality when it comes to finding beer in an airport. Any local/regional microbrewery with representation in an airport makes it worth visiting during a layover in my book.

I've flown in and out of KCI a number of times but until the last trip I had no idea whatsovever that there was good food, let alone a brewpub at this airport.
They offer the Boulevard staples but sadly were out of bully porter when I went through this last time. Plenty of stout which is always a good second choice.
My waitress was friendly and attentive. Free wireless and decent prices. d Definitely a must hit while waiting for my plane home. If you fly southwest, just start walking up the terminal and you'll see the sign!
