Food is good (sandwiches and such) and aside from the beer selection, I would consider this place a crap hole. Smells awful, like they don't clean the floors behind the bar. The taps look relatively clean though, and the beer has always tasted good. This is a smoking establishment, but it wasn't very well ventilated. this bar has been here for a very long time and I can tell you they really haven't made an effort to keep the place clean.

This place is one of my more favorite "haunts" and I am surprised that it only has two other reviews at this time. As others have mentioned, it has Southern Star beers, but it has all of the special SS beers you can't get anywhere but at the brewery (like their ProAm). The taps that I drink are all fresh and well taken care of. They also have Spaten Optimator on tap, and if you go there on Thursday, they serve them up in a 23oz glass for <$5, so this definitely counts toward the value.

The sandwiches here are excellent and the quesadillas aren't bad either. If you get something like a burger, pizza, etc, you will probably be disappointed. There are quality ingredients in the sandwiches for sure.

It is a smoking establishment, but it is well ventilated by comparison to many.

I would recommend that any beer-snob on the North side of Houston with some time to stop by here. I don't think that you will be disappointed.

The beer selection is very good. About 30 taps as noted by the previous reviewer. Southern Star Pine Belt and Buried Hatchet Stout come from just up the road in Conroe. The other taps- a mixed bag of American and foreign brews, all good choices. The beer tasted fresh.

Skip the food! I tried the chili bowl and nachos. Stadium cheese and canned cheap chili all the way. Maybe the sandwiches are better? But I'm not gonna try. I'll eat elsewhere and then go there to drink.

The service was a bit confusing. It wasn't clear whether we were supposed to order from the bar or whether a waitress would come to the table. Very laid back though.

Nice place to have some good brews. Nothing pretentious, just some regular folk hanging out.

On the feeder near Rayford & Sawdust off I45. This Molly's is a lot like the Conroe location. Kinda has a sports bar feel but with way better beer than your average bar. They have over thirty taps on the wall of crafts and micros with five or less going to macros. They keep some locals on tap as well Saint Arnold and Southern Star both have two taps on the wall. It can get pretty busy at this Molly's but the servers are still pretty good with getting you what you need. The food here is pretty standard pub grub fried appetizers, burgers and sandwiches. Overall its a pretty cool place to hang out at if you find yourself in that part of town.
