Okay, there are hundreds of excellent reviews here that describe this beer in detail, so this is a rather subjective review.
A Yuengling is what you get if you just order a "lager" in Philadelphia. It's the standard, here, and it's definitely not a bad one. The had could be more stable, but besides that, there is simply nothing wrong with that beer. It's well-balanced, lightly (but not impalpably) hopped, with a beautiful amber color. It's not made for beer-snobs that only judge a beer by the amount of hops, but it's an unobtrusive, characterful companion that can be drunk "every day".

Ordered on tap at a Hooters into a large glass mug
A- Coppery amber color, short-lived head, slight lacing on the sides
S- slight caramel, some hops, smells clean
T- Refreshing, a touch of hops and caramel, nothing special though
M- Clean, high carbonation, goes down easy
O- One of the better macros out there, this is my go-to brew.

Serving glass: Poured from tap into large glass.
Appearance: Clear amber with decent off-white head.
Smell: Caramel, grain, spicy hops, slight citrus.
Taste: Malty with a caramel focus. Light spiciness along with a hint of citrus.
Feel: Light to medium body with moderately high carbonation. Semi-dry finish that is crisp despite the low hops.
Overall: Pretty good traditional Pre-Prohibition Style Lager. While nothing particularly rememberable, it is perfect for when you just want a "beer".

Oh yes, the mighty Yuengling. Many times have I slayed this beast, only to have it come back for more. Anyway, this beer pours a clear copper color, with decent lacing all around. I came to this keg with my trusty Primator mug, so I felt that I had the proper glassware. The smell was of faint hops and some caramel malts, although it was a strain to find anything super noteworthy. The taste was a bit better, with notes of biscuit, barley, and a faint bit of hops. The mouthfeel was probably the best part about this beer, since it kept the beer clean and gave an almost prickley carbonation to the beer.
Honestly, for the price this beer can't be beat. However, if you're willing to spend a few bones, then you could do much better (obviously).

Actually my pick for a "cheap" American beer.
It has a gold, amber color. It has a smooth malt flavor and mouth feel. There's a good carbonation and creamy feel to the beer, but still the finish is lacking and has a bit of a cheap macro flavor.

Had a pint of this at Merk's in New Smyrna, Florida. $2.50 USD for the pint. 'Murica! From notes.
A - Copper pour, one finger white head, bright, spotty lace and a finger of retention.
S - Gentle hop aroma. Sweet grain. Simple but nice.
T - Sweet grain, a little light toffee, some citrus hop. Good grassiness. Quite grainy.
M - Tingly carbonaiton, light body but not thin. Clean and slightly sweet finish with a mild bitterness.
O/D - Nice lager. Flavourful and easy to drink. Could be more complex but it does what it needs to do.

First review here, figured I'd review my favorite all-around. First use of the ASTMO whatever thingy, so be gentle.
This is a solid beer I can order whether I wanted 1, 2, or 6+. I don't get sick of it. Its a lighter abv beer with a better and fuller taste to me than a bunch of macrobrews. That makes me really appreciative of this beer being available (cheaply too) all around me in Pennsylvania (and other East Coast states+Ohio/Florida)
A: Amber color, classic skinny bottle that stands out.
S: Smells like teen spirit
T: Better than your mass-produced macrobrew, has hint of malt/hops but when compared to heavier beers, its negligible.
M: Leaves mouth feeling crisp yet left behind definite marker of unique Yuengling taste. To me, stands out amongst its competitors. It is a different "crisp" from the Coors "Lite-type of crisp"
O: Overall, I love it. I'm biased as this is my parents favorite drink and I feel like I subsequently inherited in college and after moving to Philadelphia. It retains a unique taste of care and quality despite prices on par/below local breweries. That and I had the opportunity to meet Dick Yuengling, hes friggin' awesome.

Catching up on some more reviews from notes.
Draft pint, nice option from Bud/Bud Light.
Dark golden-amber color, topped with a bright white head. Foam receded, but never completely disappeared, thin lace spiderweb. Smell is malty, bready and slightly sweet. Maybe some light grass or hay notes. Lots of malt base in the taste, more biscuit malt with slight honey-like sweetness. Though thin, the body is still more than most moving towards medium. Good carbonation keep it fresh with a clean aftertaste.
Although it is regional, I will search it out again, (and it's fun to say).

This beer, while I have had it 100 times, I have always forgot to review, forgot to take detailed notes on, etc. It's a good beer, I already know that, sorry to spoil the review. It's just every time I have it, I forget to take notes, review it, whatever. Not this time. I had this beer at none other than Raglan Road in Downtown Disney World! Fun. Poured from the tap into a pint glass.
Appearance - A nice medium amber-brown color, like that of good oak maybe, with a fairly impressive two finger head that, while receding quickly, leaves some respectable lacing. Cool old skool packaging and labeling on these bottles as well.
Smell - Roasted malts, breadiness, crackers, and a touch of some slight sweetness, maybe honey. Complex and delicious.
Taste - Much like the nose. Complex, tasty, very good. The malts are certainly the prime factor in the taste, with some nuttiness as well in there. There is a slight sweet hint, along with the breads. I enjoy Yuengling.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, medium carbonation, good nutty aftertaste that coats the palate a little bit. Solid.
Overall - This beer is highly recommended, for a variety of reasons. It is good, it is relatively cheap, and it stays close it the microbrew roots, rather than selling out and tasting like pisswater. It is a good introductory beer for the macro crowd, nothing too extreme or offensive, but yet like nothing they have likely every had. Although I cannot get it where I am, every chance I get I have a Yuengling. Love it.

Beautiful dark color with a bright white head. The beer feels light in the mouth but full bodied in taste. I've tried this both in the bottle and on tap and it simply doesn't disappoint. It has a distant caramel smell masking the hops. This beer is smooth and has a great little to no after taste.

This poured with two fingers of white head with a yellowish-red colored body. There was some pretty active carbonation on this brew. The head dissipated quickly and left some lacing on the glass. On the nose, I got a bit of malt and some bready-ness. On the taste, I notice that this was way too cold. What I can get is a mild nuttiness and some malts and no real bitterness to speak of. The carbonation is plentiful and pleasant. The finish was very quick with a hint of sweetness. This is definitely better than any macro and because it’s so widely distributed (at least on the East Coast), it’s at almost every bar. This brew was simple, but satisfying. There isn’t really much more that I can say about this beer, because the success of it lies in it’s simplicity. There’s just not much going on, which is why it can go down so easily. This isn’t a beer that you have to search out, but if your choices are Coors, Bud and Miller and Yuengling, grab a bottle of this.

Poured into a plastic polka dot cup.
Appearance
Amber with 1-2 fingers of creamy head. Decent retention and excellent clarity.
Nose
Bread and caramel. Hints of slightly skunky yeast.
Taste
Bready malts and clean caramel tones. Has some slight fruitiness in the end akin to cantaloupe. A touch of floral hops and, of course, Yuengling's trademarked skunky yeast flavor.
Mouthfeel
Light bodied, crisp and clean.
Overall
Bland and boring. If it's an open bar and this is the best beer available, I'll drink it.

Had not visited with this beer in some time, and so, given the limited options at BWI, what the heck...
The beer pours a light reddish amber color with fairly good head retention and light lacing. I pick up a decent amount of malty sweetness on the nose, along with some underlying earthiness and light (very light) citrus. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this light weight beer, and the finish is short and clean. It actually comes across as a light and refreshing beverage, and there are no off notes in this beer. Mouthfeel is light, and the beer has a short, crisp, refreshing finish. Low alcohol makes this a very easy beer to drink.
A nice enough beer to enjoy on warm days when one is the mood for a session of uncritical beer consumption. Not something I'd go looking for, but I wouldn't hesitate to pour myself a glass after an afternoon of chores outside in the summer, or if I was waiting for a delayed flight at the airport.

On-tap at Brews Brothers, Pittston, PA
A - crystal clear golden color
S - typical for style
T - Clean in beginning, slight hop presence, but off tasting adjunct beer flavor at end that lingers too long.
M - thin, cardboardy
O - could do in a pinch if it's the only thing available. the rest of the draft list at this location was filled with light this, and light that. so this was the best option

Never had this Lager till I got stationed in Johnstown, PA and it has been my choice of beer since. It has a 1-finger head from tap that is quite pleasant and moderately thick. Great from tap, good from the bottle. Must be poured into a glass from can but is definitely among the best for me

Reviewed from notes. Had on tap yesterday at an Irish Pub in Midtown Manhattan.
A: Pours a clear orange copper. Weak head and lacing.
S: fairly strong. Woody, cherry.
T: Smoky, lagery, woody, cherry. Decent but weak and a tad dull.
M: A tad syrupy and undercarbonated.
O: I expected better from the oldest US brewery. Only bought it cause the choices were limited, and probably wouldn't buy it again.

1147th Review on BA
Draft to Pint
@Tampa Bay Waterside Marriot
App- A very dark orange with a mid brown center. A small 1/2 finger of head that was off white in color with some spotty cling.
Smell- This was very crisp and clean. Good lager notes but a bit more malty as it should with style. Full and a bit rich with citrus.
Taste- It's a lager or a red ale? Has both qualities split down the middle. More smooth than traditional but has lager notes and more of a body but still retains citrus red ale malts.
Mouth- Medium bodied and medium carbonation with a full malt residual flavor.
Drink- For what this is, its a very nice beer. Smooth, rich and flavorful. Like a Fat tire but better.

Served in pint glass
Appearance – Served a golden amber color with a medium white head. The head faded fast and gave way to little to no lacing.
Smell – The aroma is very faint. There is a slight roast malt and a little bit of corn and caramel aroma.
Taste- The taste is a mix of corn and a little roasted malt that persist the entire time. Up front a small amount of bitterness is detected, mainly roasted malt flavor in nature, but an ever so lighter bitter hop flavor is there as well. Toward the end, there is a light caramel flavor that works it way in, which with the malt and corn, finish the taste.
Mouthfeel – Medium to light bodied with an average level of carbonation. Nothing special.
Overall – It is very good for its price, but overall nothing really too spectacular. A good cheaper session or tailgating brew.

Poured from a pitcher into a pint glass. Pours a dark amber with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of sweet malt and not terribly much else. Tastes of sweet malt and light hops. Goes down easy with light carbonation and light bodied. Overall a decent beer for the typical bar scene.

Enjoyed on tap at a Predators game in Nashville at Bridgestone Areana.
Beer pours a nice copper amber color with just a bit of white head.
No real smells to speak of except for a bit of corn and malt.
Beer tastes carmelly sweet initially before have a nice dry, corn finish. Finishes well.
Fair amount of carbonation and very easy drinking.

Very amber. Crystal clear. Meager head with no retention.
Lightly toasted crackery malts. Slight earthy hop jolt almost not worth mentioning. Muddled malt character with a pronunciation of the lager yeast.
A little damp. Muddy tones mixed with a tad sweet caramel malt. Sourdough bread crusts, wet cloth. Spritzy hop meshes well with the playful carbonation. Cidery tinges. Thin-bodied with a crisp bite and bountiful drinkability.
A local standard. Paying respect to America's oldest brewery almost weekly.

Poured on tap to a clear amber color, some off-white head, some lacing. Smelled roasted malts, biscuity, a tad yeasty; not much. I've had this beer on draft many times, but have never reviewed it. Here goes...
Decided to start with an old standby as I watched my Packers put a beating on the Vikings. Came out a pale amber/gold with a thin wispy head capping it off. The glass was not frozen as I had expected. Kudos! The nose is grainy at best, mild leafy green aromas. Simple.
Smooth and refreshing are terms that come to mind as I gulp this one. Easy drinker here. Nice mellow flavors of grains, light bitter bite, and a sweet finish. This beer itches me where I scratch time and again. Whether it's draft, can, or bottle, this is a beer I will continue to revisit. Simple. Refreshing. Tasty.
