Had on tap in a snifter. According to the waiter, this one is so popular that they had to steal some from another location. I have no idea why. Besides it's glorious ruby coloring, the aroma and taste are, to be generous, subtle. Malt and biscuit, and water. A bit of sour tang on the finish. Drinks easy, but boring.

Appearance - light red amber, translucent, nice lacing
Smell - light minerals, light toffee, light bread crusts, and so e nice light dark fruits
Taste - some nice minerals, light pit fruits, and a touch of sour cherry
Mouthfeel - nearly medium, very slick and smooth, smooth carb
Overall - not a bad beer, nice flavors, good drink ability.

This is a decent red ale, that really reminds me of Killian's. It isn't too different.
Three finger off white head, moderate carbonation. Light brown to red body.
Smells of malt, and biscuit..
Tastes: biscuity, bready, malty, with a crispy finish
Mouthfeel: Ok, but not great.
Overall, this is a decent beer. Try it to have something different at Granite City, but I don't think you will be wowed. But, then again this thing called taste is subjective.
I have had it once, I don't think I'll seek it out again.
