Bottle cracked open at Hunahpu’s. A hazy shade of orange with a small white head. Sour fruits and woody nose. All kinds of things going on in here funk, lemon zest, tart citrus, and horse blanket flavors. It’s fantastic, I just can’t decide if I like it better than CC or not.

Opened at TN whales tasting 3/16/2013. Thanks to myself for finally opening this.

Pours a hazy orange without much head.

This is hard to review for me because it's actually pretty one dimensional. Very sour/acidic, bright dry apple/grape, delicious but not super complex. Very dry and acidic going down.

Excellent for what it is but not as good as a top Belgian gueuze and not as good as Izzy or some of the other best CA sours.
