375ml bottle into Duvel Green tulip.

A: Be careful, after a very loud pop of the cork this beer is a slow motion gusher. Pours a hazy glowing golden color with a billowing, foamy, and airy off-white head. Head took its time slowing fading into a thick rocky film that left patches of chunky lace down the glass.
S: Earthy musty notes of brett are easily noticeable alongside peaches, apricots and other stone fruits. I get hints of bready cracked grains and straw beneath.
T: Follows the nose with flavors of earthy brett, straw, hay, peaches, apricots, and cracked grains. The finish is slightly bitter with herbal hops and the aftertaste is floral and lingering. Yeast lends hints of tropical fruits.
M: Full body, airy, soft and splashy carbonation with a soft, full and slick mouthfeel.
O: A very easy to drink and flavorful brett golden ale. Defintley enjoyable, would drink again.

Poured from 375mL corked & caged bottle into a tulip. I enjoyed regular Devotion well enough, so it should be interesting with Brett added!

Appearance: nice golden hue with a light haze and a strong effervescence. Head is four fingers of big, frothy white foam which dissipates slowly. Great stuff!

Smell: moderate candy sourness and just a bit of buttery funk combine with grassy notes and a light sweetness to create a simple but effective Brett beer. I like it.

Taste: flavor is very much in line with the aroma. Sweetness is comparatively subdued up front, developing more fully in the middle. Hops are earthy and noble in character, and bitterness is balanced. This is a well-composed brew.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a straight up Brobdingnagian carbonation yields a massive, if somewhat evanescent, creaminess. Ba dow!

Overall: this beer really hits the spot for me. It just rubs me the right way. Great stuff.

2013 bottle. Loud pop when corked.

A: Hazy copper-orange with a large white head. Retention is great and has good lacing.

S: Lemon, oranges, apple peel, herbs/spice, and bit of pineapple. Medium malt sweetness, cardboard, and a mild brett.

T: Grassy/hay, herbal/spices, apple, some lemon, and a bit of pineapple. Brett is mild with bit of hay. Finishes with a decent amount of malt sweetness.

M: Light mouthfeel, aggressive carbonation, and a crisp finish (like 7up/sprite/etc)

O: My favorite brett beer so far. Good for a newcomer to funky beers.

golden and hazy with vigorous foam. in fact, it oozed out of the bottle after corking before i could hit the glass.... but very nice....
i dont know the smell- is that what the 'brett' is ? ? but it is akin to a fermenting aroma...
taste is sweet and tart, slicy spicy, a tad bitter and sour. no real leaning of a distinct flavor, but this stands out on its own, in its own way. i want to say it's a bit like a sour, but it stops far short of that. and there's the twang at the end...
someone else said 'lively' mouthfeel, and that is a perfect description.
overall... hmm, i like it, i guess. nothing standout, but a great, neutral delivery of a 6%+ abv . . .

B+

375ml into a tulip. Pours a fully hazed drab orange, ridiculously frothy froth. wonderful

The aroma surprises as a pale ale, much more of a saison with tart citrus, bright brett. nice

Again the citrus and brett but no real depth. The flavor while not watery, leans that way. Minor dry twang, little bitter. Thin bodied lively mouthfeel
cheers

This poured out as a hazy golden color with a massive white foam on top. The retention and head are strong on this are strong. The smell of the beer has a decent amount of Brett on the nose. The beer smells more like a Saison to me than a Pale Ale. The taste is a bit on the spicy side, the malt is good there is a subtle bitterness as well. The mouthfeel is lighter bodied and nicely carbonated. Overall it's a good brew in my opinion.

A wonderful pour. Somewhat faded brass color with huge white fluffy head. Blotchy lacing and settled film

Aroma kind falls off, but nothing bad. It has some barnyard funk, some green grass. Hints of floral. The characteristics are nice, yet fleeting.

Flavor is more so. The sharp, gentle dryness sweeps away the subtle flavors. Florals, grass, hay, and very light biscuit. They go quick. Really, not much left after the swallow. Quite impressive if disappointing. Yet, it is refreshing.

With more flavor, and less strength of dryness, this beer would flourish.
