Pours a somewhat cloudy straw color in the sunlight. The head is a monstrous white cap of four fingers. It reminds me of a cappuccino made by an over-zealous milk frother. The carbonation is bubbling up furiously from the laser etched bottom as well. Takes some patience to enjoy (kinda reminiscent of a The Bruery Saison). Aroma is light and refreshing. Pepper and allspice with some lemon from the yeast accent the light Belgian malt. Honey kissed and nectar-like are descriptors that come to mind for the malt.Taste starts out with zesty esters of pepper, banana, and citrus, followed by malty bitterness and ends dry as a bone. The body is meaty, but not overbearing. The aftertaste is slightly bitter and super dry. It's almost like there is a ghost of the beer I just drank.

This beer ain't messing around. It knows what it wants and does it well: Deliver a serious tasting Belgian Strong Pale to your taste buds and get the heck out of there! This would be refreshing on a hot day or a cold winter night. I'll have to pick this one up again when I see it.
