Poured into a Portsmouth brewery tulip

A: Beautiful golden yellow color with perfect clarity. The head is billowing and white with magnificent retention and lacing. This is a great start.

S: The belgian yeast reveals itself first. This is followed by a serious spice character of coriander, clove, and pepper. Apples and lemon are also there followed by a pronounced hop aroma (very floral).

T: This is very bright on the palate, bursting with spice and fruit. The coriander and pepper are quite noticeable along with a pithy lemon character. The hops reveal themselves in the finish, bitter and dry. Not so bitter that it leaves one reeling, just incredibly dry.

M: Luscious full mouthfeel that somehow feels incredible light and airy.

D: I have really enjoyed this beer from start to finish and would not hesitate to seek it out again. Cheers.
