On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.

Poured a dark amber hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retrntion and lacing.

The smell featured the typical pumpkin spice spices atop a moderate roasted malt.

The taste consisted of a medium bodied black malt that nicely complimented the assertive pumpkin spice.

The mouthfeel was toward the lighter side if the style.

Overall a tasty fall treat.

A - Deep amber color with cranberry highlights, nice head that died out quickly, and a decent lace.

S - Great spice notes, cloves, cinnamon, slight nutmeg, and obviously pumpkin. Sort of like a pumpkin spiced apple cider.

T - Sweet and slightly smokey. Nice malty body, toasted pumpkin bread, and a little spice, but not nearly as much as you'd expect based on the smell. Once it warms you start to get a slight coffee taste.

M - Medium body, a little light on the backend. Very smooth going down.

O - A little light for a porter.
