Notes:
Redhook’s twist on the Belgian style is the addition of fresh ginger, which adds a refreshing snappiness to this lighter-bodied wheat beer. Redhook Wit is perfect for warm summer months of outdoor BBQ-ing, sitting by the pool, or just taking a break by hanging inside enjoying the AC and watching old re-runs of Gilligan’s Island.

Love the look of this beer. White soapy head goes away fast but the body has an awesome hazy translucence about it. A straw golden color completes the picture.
The nose has a bit of barnyard, a bit of rock sugar, some black pepper and a lot of slightly fake lemon/lime smell. That Pledge/7Up thing isn't great, but it's not a deal breaker.
My tongue says lemon/lime on the back end but that might be the ginger that the label advertises. Whichever it is it overpowers the maltiness that I'm getting on the front. More complexity as the beer warms.
Really yummy and refreshing. The citrus is a little awkward for me, but I like it.

Decided to try this Spring/Summer seasonal offering.
Poured with little wit head with a nice unfiltered light yellow color.
Good aroma ... Ginger spice , a little citrus , and maybe white pepper.
Let's say the taste is on point with a whit beer. Nice carbonation with refreshing taste.
Medium mouthfeel and a pretty good finish.
Overall this is a good beer by Redhook . Great summer beer by the pool or on the patio cooking on the grill.

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.
But how does one distinguish the wise crackers from the average, run-of-the-mill saltines? Anyway, this stuff pours a lightly cloudy brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises orange zest, coriander, cracked wheat, light cardamom, and a hint of ginger in the background, not causing much of a stir at all. The taste brings in more of the same, though now everything is vague, muddled, nearly bland, but there's still a strong sense of orange-ness. The ginger certainly makes itself known, but only with a twinge of characteristic spicy heat near the finish. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a decent wit, but nothing I'd eagerly reach for again.

Poured a half finger of head on a cloudy, medium straw colored body.
The aroma is a dose of ginger with a little dry grain in the background.
The ginger really spices up the witbier nicely here. A little ginger with a mild bitter, rounded out by soft wheat taste.
The texture is softer with moderate carbonation.
I'm not a fan of witbier but I liked this.
