What was I doing here and how did I get here?, those who know me might ask. It was an hour south of Denver and I was on a bus trip with Ale Street News as part of their annual GABF foray. It was our first stop of the day and a picture was taken here with the mountains in the background that was later published.
Disembarking, I saw that it was on the corner of a small strip mall with an outdoor patio area to the right of the entryway. Entering, the short "J"-shaped bar was mere steps inside of the door. A rack of distressed wood (driftwood?) to the left of the bar displayed growlers. Similar distressed-wood constructions framed the chalkboards, which used colored chalk to detail available beers, specials, and other miscellany. The bar top was a colorful stained glass-like amalgam composite with corrugated aluminum as the front. Aft of the bar was the cooler followed by the modest kitchen. To the right of the bar were a series of high stainless steel tables bolted into the wall overlooking the brewery. A plaque noted that the windows came from a real estate salvage yard. Frankly, the whole place had a very industrial/recycled feel, including exposed ducting, ceiling fans and the bare concrete floor. Further aft, on the left side were the lavs and on the right side was a garage door opening for more open-air seating past a lounge area filled with sofas and comfy chairs. Against the back wall were several racks for storage and aging of their barrel-aged beers. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but nothing, including food or beer, was so mind blowing that I would have felt as though I had missed out by not having visited.
Beer: Six (6) including Sunna Wit, Chi Golden Speciale, FLOIPA (also on N2), Farmhouse Saison, Soul Horkey Ale, and Awaken Stout (also on N2).

Following a 6am departure from Albuquerque on a long day of driving to Wyoming, we stopped here for lunch. Trinity sits at the corner of a small shopping center on a fairly busy road, with a good sized outdoor seating area. Inside, the brewhouse is on the left with a J-shaped bar straight ahead and bunch of tables (with a few booths) on the right. Spacious, airy and fairly bright.
Tap list was pretty solid with about 6 taps of house beer and an extensive list of guest taps. We stuck with a selection of house beers, all of which were solid, none of which were terribly memorable. I had the Flo IPA, which was fine.
The food on the other hand was really good. Fresh ingredients, tasty and well prepared. Service was rather flighty and inattentive, but pleasant at least.
Not an outstanding stop but a nice place I'd visit again.

Going with the new scoring I can't give this place any "4s" since that would mean "outstanding." However, this place is very good, even excellent. I'd return any time I was in the area. I would likely have given Trinity a 4.25 under the old scoring system.
Unexpectedly, at least for me, this place is located in a newer strip mall and in a newer part of Colorado Springs. There is a nice patio and adequate interior sitting, although during the day on a Saturday finding a table or place to sit was problematic for most partrons.
The tap selection is excellent and the food is very tasty. In fact, the food is superior to many "beer bars" and/or breweries. Perhaps the most fun is the fact that Trinity is available just about nowhere! You can find a bottle maybe in Denver from time to time if you're lucky. You can find it in Colorado Springs at a few places. But, you can actually buy it at the brewery and in a pretty good selection.
Note, prices for the bottles are not cheap. They are among the higher priced "regular" bottles.
This is a must stop if you are in Colorado Springs and are a beer nut.

This place is pretty neat. The best part of the experience was our bartender, who let us get an insane amount of tasters of some great beers. The guest taps are where it's at, some awesome selections.
The building and decor just felt like random hipster bar xxx. It didn't do it for me. Their house beers were very bland and forgettable overall. I would be back however, just for the service and guest taps.

Very lovely place. It seems to be the spot in COS to hit up if you want so real creative brews. The people are fantastic and love the vibe in this place. Some of the customers were a little bit on the rough edgy side but hey it takes all kinds. Great place to visit if you want to try something new that is sure to take your taste buds on a roller coaster ride!! I will be back again and again for sure. The staff is also fantastic. Couldn't ask for more.

Atmosphere: Great looking place. Very rustic and unique. I love the patio. Just wish they had some more tables because they are so popular now, but that isn't a bad thing for them by any means.
Quality: All of their beers and food are top notch.
Service: A little on the slow side. Friendly as all get out, but just a little slow due to the amount of people they are serving.
Selection: They always have a massive selection of beers on tap and usually have their bottles for sale. Great selection of great quality beers and they usually have Pliny on tap.
Food: Not your typical bar food, but way better. The menu is very creative and delicious.
Value: Yeah, the bottles and food are pricey. It's a tough pill to swallow spending $35 for The Flavor or $25 for OH!Face, but I do it anyway because their beers are that good. I will still buy their beers, just not as much as I would like to.
I read the reviews on some of their beers and have no idea why they are so low. Everyone I have traded their beers to have had their minds blown away and their beers keep getting better and better. I would put Trinity's saisons up against anyone.

A Grand Slam! While passing through one night on vacation I was only able to spend about 90 minutes here due to their closing at 9 PM (bummer, but it was a school night).
1) Saison central! While they offer a broad range of styles I chose to drink three of their Saisons. ALL were exceptional. Seriously, these guys know how to brew. One of these was brewed in honor of Dany Prignon and his famous Fantome brewery (they touted having a relationship with the man). While it was not a Fantome, of which I have had several, it was a fine tribute. Base hit!
2) Food. While some reviewers give a somewhat neutral to negative vibe on this joint’s menu, I thought it was fabulous. Their fare is eclectic, but all four of the small dishes I shared were really tasty and accompany their beers quite well. Let down your prejudices and try something you’ve never had. I doubt you will be disappointed. We have two men on base now.
3) Guest taps, location, service, and price. You will see a lot of regional selections represented, which I like very much. How one would ever find time to drink one I don’t know, unless you lived near there. How can you beat this?: Outside seating with a view of Pike’s Peak. OK, I didn’t get to enjoy this because the seats were all taken, but still, what a view going in and out of the place! Service was nominal; not bad, not off the charts. The gal who served me was nice, “somewhat” knowledgeable about their beers, and came around often enough to keep my water glass full. A bar seat would no doubt be the place to be. The prices? I would say average to good. Nothing on the dinner menu is going to make you wince although you will probably need to order two items instead of one to make a meal. Beer prices are unexciting---neither too high or low enough to notice. Well by George, we have bases loaded.
Me personally? I hope to go back here sometime and spend 2 – 3 hours enjoying their beers. A better scenario would be a 4-day work trip in CO Springs so I could hit it every night. Even so, I doubt I would make a large dent in their list of offerings.
This place is a Grand Slam IMHO---definitely worth consuming some space on your calendar.

This is a small but grand little brewery.
Besides brewing their own tasty brews, they have an awesome collection of guest beers on tap. As for their brews, they're pretty top-notch. They seem to really like experimenting with farmhouse ales and have come up with some real winners over the years. I'm more of a traditional beer style guy, but have really enjoyed their more adventurous offerings.
The food is okay, but don't expect your 'normal' brew pub fare. they lean more towards vegan styled offerings, but no matter, it's usually tasty.
The atmosphere is intimate. There's a relatively small seating availability, so it can get crowded. But what really says a lot about this place is that it usually has a fair number of people, even during mid-afternoon time frame.
Another plus is their 10% discount for human-powered transportation. Walk, run, bike, skateboard your way to the place, and they'll knock 10% off your entire bill. My experience has been that you may have to remind the person who's handling your tab, but that's a minor ding for an otherwise great discount incentive.
